About Jennings Family
Our entire extended family has had a hand in restoring and preserving this uniquely situated house. The home was originally purchased by our father, W. Stanley Jennings, a Chesapeake, Virginia family physician. It is now maintained by his children and grandchildren. We offer this cherished home to you. When you share it with us, it provides a common cause which strengthens the bonds of our family. Thank you.
Jennings Family purchased this Condo in 1968
Why Jennings Family chose Northeast Virginia Beach
If you're looking for a cozy getaway that is close to all the action, then this is the place for you. Our family has always loved the beach and how close this house is to the beach. It is located in the "old beach" area of Virginia Beach, which is in the center of resort area activity. It's just the right mix of nostalgia with the most modern in family adventure. This home was once the living quarters of the captain of the Virginia Beach Coast Guard. The Coast Guard Museum, which sits across the street, is a local historical remembrance of the old Coast Guard station that was located on Atlantic Ave and 24th Street.
What makes this Condo unique
From the parking area in front, vacationers make their way down the short boardwalk to the back, where this secluded apartment awaits. Open the door to meet a bedazzled, colorful octopus, "Grandpa's Revenge". It's to remind you that you are here to enjoy the beach. The condo includes washer/dryer, refrigerator, stove, HD-TV and dishwasher. It's equipped with a microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker, and a fully equipped kitchen and has cable and secure WIFI. There is an open floor plan, a kitchen with island and dining options. French doors open out to a secluded private deck. Some parts of the captain's quarters have been preserved as accents for this totally renovated ground floor unit. You are so close to the 24th Street stage that you can hear the nightly concerts from your deck. You are right in the middle of the beach action, yet secluded. The new I-Fly skydiving adventure is also visible from the deck. There are 12 restaurants, the beach, an outdoor concert stage and countless adventures a half block from your doorstep, or you can just hang out and let it go on all around you while nestled in your tranquil private oasis.

Great place to stay
Thank you for providing us a great place to stay while we were in Virginia Beach. The unit was clean, and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to others. Great location.
location, location, location
Checkin was super easy, place was clean and beds very comfortable. it is located just half a block from a main beach entrance. Far enough away to not be bothered by late night beach concerts and close enough to be able to run back if you forget anything
Quick trip to the Beach
Easy beach access, very convenient to town.
Awesome stay and location
Nice, clean, and spacious house. Stocked with dishes, coffee maker, toaster, microwave. Awesome location - right in the middle of everything . We were able to walk everywhere and not worry about driving anywhere. Beach was literally 1 to 2 minute walk from the doorstep!
The house was great for our short stay. Clean, cute, convenient!
Perfect for a weekend getaway with a small group
Incredible location. A very very short walk to the beach, good restaurants, and some very fun bars. They utilize the space of the house very well. We had no complaints. Thank you!
The 'old beach' area of Virginia Beach is in the center of resort area activity. Just the right mix of nostalgia with the most modern in family adventure, all within walking distance of this historic location.
Within a block you can eat at a dozen different places, play jungle golf, attend live nightly concerts, experience indoor skydiving, jump in the ocean, lay on the beach, check out the old coast guard station or the firehouse. You forgot to bring something, so Walgreens is next door.
You will forget that you brought your car, because you just don't need it. Maybe you'll be tempted to explore by bike instead. Breakfast at the Honeybee pancake house or Doc Taylor's. Try the indoor sky diving across the street after gathering your courage at CP Shuckers. It won't be long before you've forgotten what you did for a living.
You are gonna love this vacation!
