Why Kelly Corson chose Bar Harbor
We fell in love with the property because of it's great location in town. We were also excited to put all of our own creative remodeling ideas to work. When we vacation we enjoy renting vacation homes that are central and walking distance to many of what the location has to offer. This property doesn't disappoint on it's great neighborhood and location.

Very convenient location
The Bar Harbor apartment is clean and comfortable. The apartment is smallish but the way it is set up, it is perfect for a couple, much better than a hotel room. It is about a 1/2 mile walk to downtown Bar Harbor and just a very short drive to the Acadia National Park entrance. One thing to take note is that there is no cable television. The TV is set up with a ROKU for streaming. That was not a problem for us since we have a DirectTVNow account and were able to access it through the ROKU device. Overall, it is a very nice apartment at a reasonable price.
Perfect Bar Harbor vacation!
Wow, what a great place for my daughter and I to spend or Bar Harbor vacation. The apartment was exactly as advertised, very clean and modern. The bed was nice and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was on a nice quite deadend that was walking distance to everything. We were so busy the whole visit. There is so much to do. Loved it!
Perfect For A Couple
We had a wonderful time visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia. The apartment is perfect for a couple visiting this area. It was nice being able to walk to shops and restaurants. It is also close to the national park and all the hikes and views. We had a wonderful time.
Truly a beach escape! Such a great cottage right by town. Easy to get to and great location to walk into Bar Harbor’s downtown. Comfortable bed, cozy living room, and kitchen had everything we needed. Great bathroom for a nice hot shower after a day of hiking. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bar Harbor.
Law student retreat
As two law students who recently completed finals, my significant other and I had been anticipating this trip to Bar Harbor for months. Our expectations were exceeded. The property was adorable, clean, and convenient. It’s location a few blocks away from the downtown area and a few miles from Acadia National Park was ideal. Kelly was very responsive and helpful, even granting us the opportunity to stay an extra night on very late notice. Our home away from home made for an even more enjoyable, memorable experience.
A five-star apartment in a perfect location
This gem of an apartment is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants, shopping and the grocery store, with hiking trails a sort drive away. It is spotlessly clean and has been stylishly renovated and includes everything needed for a comfortable stay: a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, TV, a front porch with chairs so you can enjoy the sunny fall days, and even a nightlight in the bathroom, one of several small touches that made for a perfect visit. We hope to come back next year!
The Captains Quarters, Suite 2, is located in the hub of downtown Bar Harbor in a quiet section of town (Dead End Rd.). Acadia National Park Entrance is located within biking distance to the property. All downtown events, eateries and sight seeing is within a 2 minute walk to town.
