When the building was built in 2003 I knew I wanted to make this my home.

Due to my job as a pilot I rented it out for many years only to make it my home in 2013.

It is the best home I ever had and would love you to have the same experience!

Perfect Location

First time on the island and I doubt we could have chosen a better location to enjoy our week. The apartment was comfortable with everything we needed and a fantastic view from the balcony. Martine the owner was there if we needed her-but we didn't. We could walk or catch a bus very cheap and easy. We rented a car from a local rental and toured the Island for one day. Still think we had the best spot to stay! A great beach and great beach bar across the street, casino just up the street. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Location

Great spot to stay. Right across the road is the beach and all other ammenites are a short walk from the apartment. Loved watching the activities from the balcony. Apartment is well kept and Martine is a very gracious landlord. Thanks for having us...much appreciated!

Thank you Martine, we love your place. Everything was exactly as described. We love the location because there was no need for a car. The cab from the airport was $12. We took the $2 bus to Phillipsburg and then to Marigot. It was so easy! The beach is steps away and lots of great restaurants are walking distance. Our favorite was Jimbo's. There is also a great supermarket around the corner. Martine is a wonderful host, and quick to respond to any question or need.

Awesome owner, convenient location

This unit is very clean, comfy and exactly as pictured and described. The bonus is the wonderful owner, Martine, who is very accommodating and interested in the well-being and comfort of her renters. She lives here as well on the first floor. We utilized VRBO many times in the past. We have always had positive experiences with the owners, but Martine is heads above everyone else. This is a second floor unit in a 12-unit building, that does not have an elevator. The washer and dryer are located on the ground floor. The view of Simpson Bay is delightful. Buccaneer Beach Bar is across the street and can be seen from this unit. When sitting on the balcony there is some street noise as well as from the bar, but when the patio door is closed, it is quiet. AC keeps the temperature very comfortable. We did not rent a car and walked to the grocery store as well as the Simpson Bay restaurants. Thanks Martine for a wonderful stay.

We're Planning to Return

My wife and I started to extend our stays in Sint Maarten, so we looked for an apartment to be more comfortable than a hotel room. The requirements we were looking for included: a beach nearby; a view of the Caribbean; close to restaurants and shopping; kitchen; air conditioning; Wi-Fi; and washer/dryer. We quickly narrowed our search down to this apartment.

From our initial inquiry through our entire stay the owner, Martine, was quite helpful in setting up our reservation, answering questions, and making sure we were comfortable during our stay. She really earned our friendship after my wife had surgery on the island.

We found the apartment to be exactly what was listed on VBRO. It was clean, well maintained and had the amenities needed for our stay. The view of Simpson Bay was fantastic – We watched flights leave the airport, pelicans diving for food, and yachts entering and leaving the harbor. The new air conditioning worked perfectly and on cooler days we were able to open up the windows and get a nice breeze.

If you know Sint Maarten, then you know everything we needed was close by. Kim Sha Beach and Buccaneers were right across the street, the Garden Market was close by and we were within walking distance of a lot of our favorite restaurants.

If I had to list any concerns, it would be the Wi-Fi was intermittent and the water heater went out. This is a fairly new apartment for Martine and she is still tuning the Wi-Fi. I don’t expect this to be a problem in the future. She was actually quite concerned with the water heater failure, and managed the repair very well, even though she was off the island. I appreciated the fact that she stayed in constant contact with us to keep us updated on the repair.

I wish I could think of something to say that would deter you from renting this apartment, because we want it to be open for us. But, I can’t, so we had Martine save our dates for 1016.

Absolutely fantastic!

What a beautiful apartment you have Martine!

It was exactly what we had hoped for.

Everything was like in the pictures and better, it was definitely spacious enough!

We enjoyed the evenings on the balcony and listening to the great guitar player in the background.

The location was fantastic, we did not need to rent a car which saved us $$$ for food and drinks at the beach.

And thank you so much for helping us out and calling a taxi for us for our last night.

This was very thoughtful of you.

I hope to return very soon and I will make the stay longer than the 5 nights we booked now.
