I have been lucky to be a homeowner in the Vail Valley for many years, at times a full time resident. I grew up in Detroit and was delighted to find a career in Colorado for many years. It is the cliche that you come to Vail for the Winters but stay in Vail for the Summers. But it's true! I love the skiing, hiking, biking, rafting, and all the many other activities of Vail's healthy lifestyle.
Owner Terry Michel purchased this condo in 2003
I have owned this home for almost 15 years and have completely updated and renovated every floor and room. I hope that you'll enjoy my lovely home and all of the beautiful surroundings as much as I do!
I love the location of this condo. The residential areas of Vail are friendly, relaxing, safe, and beautiful. Convenient to everything - shopping, skiing, fishing, hiking trails, I-70, etc .. This neighborhood is also comfortable, quiet, and relaxing after a full day of taking in all that the mountain has to offer.
We found this condominium as described on the VRBO site. It functioned very well for our group of 5.
The owner was very responsive throughout the rental process, including letting us know that the unit was ready for occupancy, and checking with us upon arrival to make sure our needs were being met. The condominium was clean, well appointed and the kitchen fully equipped for making meals.
Vail Village and ski drop off was a breeze with the free bus, which was easily acessible.
Really enjoyed our stay at this town house. It was less than a block walk to the free shuttle that dropped you off in Vail Village, making it extremely convenient for getting to the mountain to ski, home after skiing, and back to town for dinner or drinks. The town house itself was in great condition, just like the photos. The living room had a big TV and a good bit of seating. The kitchen seemed like it had been recently re-done because nearly all the appliances appeared new. There were two bedrooms to comfortably sleep 4 on beds, but the air mattresses were easy and added more space. This home was great because it was cheaper than many of the other listings but still had a great location and all the amenities you could need.
Lastly, the owner is very accessible and responds quickly to all email inquiries and gives you a phone number to contact during the week of your stay in case you need anything urgent or run into problems. All around very helpful and friendly.
Nestled in the residential area of West Vail. Walk to children' park, separate dog park, mountain hiking trails, biking trails. 1 minute walk (less than 1 city block) to the Free Town of Vail Bus route. Just 2.5 miles to Vail's Lionshead Gondola/Lift. 5 miles to Beaver Creek. Steps to Gore Creek, and so much more!
