About Betty Goe

I enjoy having quests stay at the cabin because they enjoy the uniqueness of the property and everything it has to offer.

Living in Tennessee is like being on a year round vacation. In the summer the countryside is beautifully green and lush, the fall and spring months offer abundant color and winters are mild.

I have a female Beagle puppy named Charlie and a loveable cat named Thompson.

Betty Goe purchased this cabin in 2004

Why Betty Goe chose Houston County

The log home is a rehab with a lot of character and is a one of a kind property.

What makes this cabin unique

In addition to the beautiful area the cabin property is private, peaceful and very relaxing.

The pictures don't do it justice!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I chose Rustic Timbers for our Thanksgiving holiday because of the amazing kitchen and it did not disappoint. Everything from start to finish was better than expected. Communication with Betty was easy with quick responses to all of our questions. The house itself is much more open than the pictures lead you to believe, which was awesome and was perfect for our weekend of catching up with family. The enclosed back porch was a perfect place for the young kids to play and even had a bin of toys that they were very excited about. The house was extremely clean upon arrival and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for cooking. The enormous back yard was a perfect backdrop for some impromptu family photos. Everything was wonderful. Thank you so much!

One tip that may be relevant only for our stay - the only thing we could have used (and should have had the foresight to bring ourselves!) was tupperware or something stackable to store leftovers in. Just a recommendation for anyone considering renting this home that may plan to cook a lot of food!

Family Re-Union 2016

  • 5 of 5

Absolutely fantastic is all I can say. We had a great time and the owner was more than accommodating. She has a great place that we took advantage of by simply just relaxing and visiting with interruptions by anyone. Recommend the house to anyone but one piece of advice...don't hesitate reserve now.

Home away from home

The house at rustic timbers was amazing, we had plenty of room for our party of 7. The pool was great and we spent 90% of our time at the house in the pool. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay.

Family Thanksgiving Holiday

  • 4 of 5

This was a perfect getaway for our family to share Thanksgiving. Betty was a very gracious host ensuring we had everything we needed for our stay, and popping by with a homemade pecan pie! The kitchen was very well equipped and large enough to share meal preparations. A very comfortable 'home away from home' for the holiday.
