Enjoy sound and view of the ocean from the second floor balcony. Our condo is quite possibly the most welcoming and beautiful open-concept remodel in Port Aransas or the Gulf Coast. Casa Que Pasa at the Island Retreat Condominiums was built with all your friends' and families' (up to 10 people) needs in mind.

The always non-smoking and pet-free 3 bedrooms and 2 baths are arranged up to accommodate up to 3 families or maybe just your family + friends and/or in-laws comfortably.

The feel of the interior is little Mexico, a lot of Austin and a touch of the Carribean...CQP is both contemporary and timeless. We hope you enjoy our home away from home.

* Integrated Bluetooth speaker fan in master bath connects to your devices for music, video playback or audiobook enjoyment that can be heard throughout the house

* Wireless Nest thermostat is set to local weather and guest schedules (instructions included on how to operate for those unfamiliar with this product)

* On-site management, local access to cart rentals, spa/massage and restaurants


* Beachfront off 11th street which is parallel to the beach and between beach access road 1-A and Avenue G, Casa Que Pasa is close to all main city arteries, straight shot to airport, downtown and ferry

* Walking distance to the Beach Lodge, oldest restaurant & bar on the beach (directly in the dunes directly in front of Island Retreat) cheeseburgers and tallboys on the walkable to Kody's on 11th with some of the best seafood and putt-putt on the island

Why Jason Brian chose Port Aransas

Casa Que Pasa is a contemporary take on the traditional beach condo... Natural elements of acacia, walnut, wicker, leather, mango, metal and quartz complement the minimal design intended to provide ample space to relax and unwind.

What makes this condo unique

Natural elements: Most of the contents of the condo are solid wood, leather or metal. We did this to keep the pieces inside the home as close to those outside the home. We have also designed wall and furniture edges to be rounded/curved wherever possible for safety or our big and little guests. Electrical outlets are child-proof and interior walls are insulated against elements and sound.

Wired for comfort and pleasure: Each bedroom has a flat screen TV with DVD and the living room's 50" LED TV and Blu-Ray has streaming Netflix, Pandora, Hulu for viewing and listening pleasure.

The master en suite bath also has a Bluetooth-enabled speaker that will work with most mobile, tablet or laptop devices to play your favorite audio in the shower or throughout the house.

Fun family getaway

Our family had a great stay. The kids each had rooms/beds to themselves. We were able to make a lot of meals at home and had everything we needed in the kitchen. The kids loved being able to walk to the beach, and we all loved getting to have a pool so close as well! Just a great time, and we'll be coming back for sure.

Wonderful property and location

The condo was great for our family. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because we did not think the sheets had been changed since we found a pair of earrings in one bed. We also found left pizza in the oven

Great location

No need to rent a golf cart , the beach is very close. The owner addressed any issues immediately. We hope to come back and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Great location! Great condo! A little cluttered and some very minor repairs needed.

The rooms were well furnished. Place was clean. Nice kitchen. Some rough spots like towell racks put on upside down, pretty rough cookware, guest bath hot cold water backwards. Lots of nice furniture. Too much furniture. It's really crowded in living room with some unnecessary tables. Really short walk to the beach! Nice pool. Lots of picnic areas. Nice selection of beach toys for the kids. Lots of cribs if you have little kids. Would stay here again for the price!

Great location and great place to stay!

The condo was clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful balcony overlooking the pool and gulf. Very spacious bedrooms. Location to shops in Port Aransis was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
