5 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, Sleeps 10, Abundant parking and Dockage

Large, over 1 acre, private, gated, 5 bedroom home with pool in Marathon. 3 bedrooms, 2 baths upstairs, with a separate 2 bedrooms and 1 bath down. New Kitchen appliances, new laundry appliances, new bamboo floors throughout, house has been remodeled in April 2011. All new mattresses and living room furniture 2016

Dockage and Yard: New Pool and Chicee hut, recently installed flat screen TV underneath. Abundant parking inside the gated yard. Dock has just been redecked with new Trex boards, 18' wide berths, 60' deep, with full shore power. Bring the whole crew!!

Location: Located right at the start of Marathon, 50 minute drive from Key West and 30 to Islamorada. Just minutes from the airport, the Island restaurant under 1 mile, Captain hooks under 3 miles, gas at end of the canal.

Perfect end to summer

As a teacher, I was ambivalent about my last week off in the Keys...excited to get there...dreaded heading home. Our family has spent multiple vacations in the Marathon area, with young kids and dog to (now) adult kids, friends, and dog. Dog friendly properties seem infrequent to come by, especially one as nice as 73 Coco Plum! You would never know it is a pet-friendly rental. It was clean, neat, updated, and well taken care of. We had 2 dogs and 8 adults varying from 22 to 50-something. There was plenty of room; the tiki hut and covered hammock were overused to say the least! The dock is roomy, watch out for the hole in the lowest level (the only flaw I found). We had 2 boats there all week and could have fit a third. The fenced-in area outside was the largest I have ever seen at a rental...and most of it was pavers...perfect for cornhole! The location on the water made for a short trip to the ocean or bayside. Yes, there is a marina right next door. We were there right after Sportman's season (a busy clean-up/prep for the opening of lobster season time), but there were probably only 2 times I can remember the noise seeming loud. But it was brief and, to us, a reasonable exchange for no neighbors at all! Another near impossibility with a rental in Marathon. The only thing we had to take care of while we were there was getting gas for the grill which Donna assured us we would be reimbursed for. She was very helpful getting us acquainted with the property. I would definitely rent this property again!

Everything we hoped it would be and more.

Donna greeted us as soon as we arrived. Showed us everything we needed to know about the property. The fishing off of the dock was amazing for our fisherman. The pool was beautiful, the tiki hut was amazing. Privacy was amazing. I can't say enough about this rental property. This was the first time I tried to rent a home and fortunately we picked the right house with the right person to help us out. Donna I can't thank you enough for everything I will definitely be back. I would also like to thank you for recommendations for restaurants and stores. We rented a boat from right next store with no problems. You might think with a business right next door it might be noisy , but it wasn't. Every thing was perfect. As my guests arrived for their week of fun they all came in smiling and left just as happy. Perfect Vacation

We loved everything this home has to offer. The privacy was great. The dock is one of the best we have ever seen- big enough for 2 boats. Quick boat ride to open water on both sides- Atlantic and Gulf side. The parking inside the gates is unbelievable. We will be back again next year. Cannot beat it for the price!!!

The perfect family getaway

What an incredible location and place to stay with your family and friends. A great lay out for entertaining. Location couldn't be better and the restaurants are just amazing. The hardest part was leaving!

Awesome Rental

If you have a large group, with a few boats and want to be left along in a pretty massive pool area, this was a fantastic place. Yes it is in a commercial area, but we could do what we wanted and let the kids run around and make all the noise we wanted. Awesome new dock too, it was just completed when we got there. Plenty of rooms, great location and easy to get to the Atlantic as well as Sparkys just around the corner a great spot for the evening coctails! Would recommend to anyone and look forward to going back next year...Thanks Doug and Donna!

Outstanding!

My family and friends came down to Coco Plum this past August for a week of rest and relaxation along with some serious fishing and diving. We arrived on Sat and drove through a storm to get there. When we arrived the storm had churned up the reef and offshore was still blowing and the wind continued for most of the time we were there.

The good news is that the property was large enough that all 10 people had enough space to them selves and most of the vacation was spent under the Tiki hut and the pool. The house was very clean, AC was cold and plenty of room for parking including trailers. The dock was very large and was able to handle a 31' CC and a 22' CC no problem. The channel heading out was deep enough to not worry about anything and the cut to the Gulf side was very close.

Donna had mentioned that after we were leaving they were to redo the dock which will top off the property! during our stay the winds were blowing 20kts from the east so if we weren't in the pool we were sight seeing at the Turtle hospital just down the street or the Aquarium and even made a trip to Key West.

There are also plenty of good restaurants that aren't far either like Island Fish Co which also has great sunsets and fried Key Lime Pie or the Lobster Ruben which is awesome!

In summary I planning on making another trip down very soon!!!!!

Located just minutes from the Atlantic (Oceanside), deep water dockage close to some of the best fishing in the Keys.

45 minute drive to Key West, and 30 minutes from Islamorada, or just start in Marathon with the many new restaurant and bars opening up. Great beaches also very close by. Home Depot, Kmart and Publix also short drive on the Island.
