ALOHA and thank you for considering our home for your Maui vacation! Our condo was completely renovated in Dec. 2011 and we hope you like what we've done.
Just 10 feet from the ocean and located on the second floor, you will not be disappointed! Upon entering the condo, you will be drawn immediately to our spacious lanai (balcony). The panoramic views of Moloka'i, Lana'i and the ocean are amazing! The sandy beach in Kahana is directly adjacent to the condo and provides excellent swimming, snorkeling and sunbathing.
Once you're able to pull yourself from the outside view (and the turtles that feed directly below our condo), the interior is also warm and inviting. The calm, modern setting is perfect for curling up on the couch in the cozy, living area. Relax while reading a book, catching up on the latest news or spending a romantic evening watching the sun go down.
When it's time to go to sleep, the comfortable king-size bed is not far away. Open all the windows to allow the sound of the ocean waves and breezes lull you to sleep. When you awaken feeling rested and refreshed, the ocean will be the first thing you see in the morning.
Our fully-equipped, modern kitchen and bathroom with full tub and shower have all the conveniences of home. The thought of staying in a hotel will become a thing of the past.
Pohailani is located in quiet Kahana, nestled between the bustling resorts of Ka'anapali and Kapalua. Within walking distance, you will find fine restaurants and shopping in the Kahana Gateway Center. If you prefer other options, you're only a short drive to Kapalua, Napili, Ka'anapali or Lahaina. Famous beaches, world-class golf courses, Whaler's Village, a farmers' market, grocery stores and other amenities are just minutes away.

We fell in love with Maui when we spent our honeymoon here and have returned to Hawaii almost every year since then. We have vacationed on other islands but Maui was always our favorite. Our dream was to someday own a 'little piece of paradise' on Maui and finally, we have achieved that dream! We have renovated our condo to feel as warm and welcoming as our own home and we are very excited to be able to share our condo with you!

We had to have a place where the view was oceanfront - no exceptions! Kahana was the perfect location for us because it is between the resorts of Ka'anapali and Kapalua (we love to golf) and a 15-minute drive to Lahaina. In Kahana, you are able to enjoy the relaxed pace of island living without sacrificing conveniences.

You get to experience some of the most incredible things Maui has to offer without leaving your room - unobstructed views of Moloka'i & Lana'i, picturesque sunsets, the sound of the ocean, the breeze on your face and an overall feeling of serenity every day! We are also one of the few units in our complex, on the ocean, that has a washer and dryer in our condo!!

Whalewatching and sunset from lanai
We are returning guests and we booked the studio for two weeks. To be so close to the ocean means to fall asleep by the sound of the waves in the very relaxing bed. The lanai is great to have breakfast and meal. Outside close to the oceanwall is a new weber bbq. Turtles, monk seals were passing. We brought binoculars and spotting scope to watch the whales. Amazing view. The kitchen has more than you need to prepare a good meal. We enjoyed making smoothies with the fresh fruit. Big fridge and freezer to store groceries. The studio is very clean. Our parking lot was just in front of the stairs. White towels, beach towels, beach chairs, and and and... we missed nothing. Perfect place for perfect vacation. The owners are very friendly. They answered questions as soon as possible. We hope to be back.

This condo is PERFECT! The location is great, close enough to Lahaina to be convienent but just far enough away to feel secluded! The owners were amazing to work with and have thought of everything you need! We had an amazing time here & won’t hesitate to recommend this place to friends & book again!!
You simply can't get any closer to the ocean than this! This lovely little condo was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We really enjoyed the location, which was close enough to walk to restaurants and the market. A very short drive to multiple activities. The unit was very quiet except for a little morning traffic and of course the constant crashing of the ocean waves which we very much enjoyed. The lanai felt very private. Absolutely spectacular sunsets!!! In fact we decided that sitting out on our lanai for dinner could not be beat and we cooked in or got takeout for virtually every evening. The king bed is very comfortable. We will absolutely book this condo again!!!
When can we move here?
We had a beautiful wonderful trip and are so thankful that the owners opened their home to us. It was perfect for us... the breeze and the waves and the view were rivaled only by the convenience of the condo and the FOOD that we found while on the island!
Enjoy whale watching (in season), turtles and the occasional manta rays swimming directly in front of the condo. Take a leisurely stroll or go sunbathing, swimming or snorkeling at Kahana Beach. You're only a short walk away to fine dining and casual local restaurants!
