We are happy to provide you a new yacht from our fleet! Please see our sister property Shook up Shark (property 3558041) for comparable reviews and a 5 star experience!
Enjoy the beautiful sunset and watch Charleston's resident pod of dolphins as you stay on our 2 Bedroom/2 bathroom 40' yacht! Park for free at our fantastic location on the Ashley River and the peninsula of beautiful downtown Charleston, SC. Walk to a Riverdog's baseball game (single-A affiliated with the Yankees), or simply watch the stadium's fireworks from the comfort of the yacht's deck while sipping a cocktail. Cross the street to Crosby's Seafood to pick up some fresh fish and shellfish to throw on the grill for a special meal. We are right around the corner from the Citadel (go Bulldogs!), and minutes away from the shopping and nightlife of King Street. Charleston's southern charm, historic mansions, and world-renowned restaurants will be at your fingertips!
The yacht has a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker) along with a gas grill on the back deck overlooking the Ashley River. In addition to the yacht’s grill, you also have access to a full-size propane grill located under a pavilion on the marina’s dock. We supply kitchen necessities, grilling utensils, and a fully stocked spice rack for those who like to cook. There are 4 flat screen TVS with two blu-ray players, and plenty of board games. No fear with children as there is a first class playground in the park adjacent to the boat 200 yards away. The Main Salon has a 40' Samsung Flatscreen if you decide to stay hunkered in for a movie night (the nearest Redbox is about a mile away). Both bedrooms have custom-made memory foam mattresses that feel like a supportive cloud. We also provide amazing down comforters and premium pillows. Take advantage of the boat's central heat and air, or open all the hatches and windows to let the sea breeze flow through. Fresh linens and towels provided. Cable and Wifi included.
We love our yachts and strive to create a wonderful vacation experience for our renters. We would love to share our favorite place in Charleston with you!
What a great weekend getaway on a boat docked in one place! Joel was very welcoming. He explained everything about the boat (a perfect fit for two couples + two young kids). And he was very helpful orienting our group of out-of-towers to the Charleston area. The boat itself was so much more fun-luxurious-accommodating-convenient than a hotel in the city. Two cabins & two bathrooms plus a small galley to fix simple breakfasts. With a short walk up to the parking lot, we could access our parked cars or get an Uber car to anywhere in the city for under $10. We met friendly people in nearby boats. And even saw dolphins pass under our dock on multiple nights. My wife never slept on a boat/wanted to sleep on a boat, but she never had any problem getting her sea legs as the yacht was so steady. My two young nieces woke each day like it was Christmas morning eager to see more fish & seagulls. And the deck was absolutely perfect for watching the sunset with a beer. I'd recommend this yacht experience to anyone. We can't wait to come back. Even local Charleston friends stopped by to visit one night and were very impressed. A++
My boating family of four enjoyed staying in the harbor aboard a yacht in the Redfin fleet. The yacht was found very clean and the berths extremely and unexpectedly comfortable. It has a regular tub/shower, full fridge, galley kitchen, coffee maker, and all the comforts we would get staying on land at a VRBO house. We didn't stay on the boat to go cruising but rather just enjoy the novelty of staying on a boat in a harbor setting. Logistics were no different than staying on land. Fun to have our own corner of Charleston during a popular spring break time to visit.
Four women shared this boat for a celebration weekend and, though comfortable, quarters were tight. Joel was very responsive to our needs. Functional and pretty clean; excellent shower in master. Above deck seating area fun and scenic. Close to historic district. Good place to sleep 4 and enjoy beautiful sunrise and sunset.
For the second time in six months, our family elected to stay aboard the dolce vita while visiting Charleston. With two cozy cabins, the yacht easily sleeps four and, with fold-out sofa, can sleep up to six. Seating and outdoor television on the upper deck gave our young adults an area to themselves. Again, Joel was a pleasure to work with and met us at the marina upon arrival. The marina is conveniently located near downtown and within walking distance of the Charleston RiverDogs' ballpark. We look forward to our next stay!
Just fyi the ropes on the cleats might have loosened up because last night the yacht was squeaking all night long. Other wise great place to stay and see Charleston!
