Somewhat misleading

This vacation rental was absolutely breath taking, it is beautiful inside and out. It's clean and the amenities were awesome! The pictures on this website were accurate, what you see is what you get . My friends and I enjoyed the canoe and floating as well as fishing, Arachnophobics beware , spiders everywhere! The fact that spiders are all over the place was kind of a kill joy considering when you open the doors they would just fall on your hair literally. Also a mouse greeted us from underneath the oven. Otherwise, this home is absolutely wonderful and I would definitely come back again if their wasn't an insect issue. Bug bombing is a must !!!

Amazing floating home and location!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful family experience staying at this lovely floating house! The location of the house is beautiful, sitting literally right in the river feeding Lake Coeur D'Alene! Not another home around for miles. Peaceful and serene. Surrounded by nature. Large private property is fun to explore. Walking distance to the Trail of the Coeur D'Alene. A short 5 minute drive to the quaint town of Harrison. Pure Americana!

This is not a boat house, but rather an actual home with all the typical amenities and such that is moored just off shore and a small dock that connects to the mainland. A deck surrounds all sides of the house with fun fishing directly from the house. Jump directly into the river from the deck and enjoy the cool refreshing water. Well maintained home accommodated our family of 6 very comfortably. We hope to return.

Terrific Week at the Float House

  • 5 of 5

This was perfect for our gang of adults and kids. The house comes with a canoe and we brought our boat and kayaks. We docked the boat to the side of the house and used it all week to go to Harrison, travel upriver, and out onto the lake for wakeboarding and tubing. The kids were always swimming, boating or even skateboarding up the nearby paved trail. Thanks Keith and Sylvia!

Quiet stay on the river

  • 4 of 5

We had a very enjoyable stay in this house. The quiet solitude of its location made the drive to Coeur d' Alene worth the time. It was fun to have the canoe and we took many sunset trips upriver.

Floating oasis

  • 5 of 5

What an incredible stay. Three perfect days for us, including needing to spend time indoors due to some inclement weather, and this place was awesome. We've driven by in the boat hundreds of times, and admired it from the water, but had no idea of the charms of the inside. Wonderful and well equipped kitchen, nice rooms with comfy beds, a spacious living room area... But it won't matter, because of the deck. Sit at the waters edge, catch big bass and pike, wave at the boaters, and watch and listen to more wildlife than you can count. We spent hours and hours in the deck chairs.

Day or night, this is truly a special place, one words can't describe. We would highly recommend it to anyone, and can't wait to get back here again!

This float home is pretty awesome!

  • 5 of 5

The home was clean and welcoming. We brought a small fishing boat and tied it right to the dock/deck. The river was clean and free of weeds in the area of the home. Canoeing was fun and a great way to see more of the river. We would have loved to stay for longer than 3 nights!
