This 3bd, 2ba home is located just 3 miles from historic downtown loveland. It has hardwood floors, ceramic tile and wall to wall carpeting. It is convenient to shopping and locally owned restaurants as well as the bike trail, canoe rentals and kings island. The home is completely furnished and has a deck that overlooks the wooded lot. This home is great when in town visiting friends and relatives as well as the corporate traveler.
You can tell that the home has been recently remodeled and everything is in great working order. The only convenience that we could have asked for would have been a washing machine and clothes dryer--which made staying just over one week a little difficult with piles of laundry to deal with later. The home layout is nice and the location is very peaceful, a little way out in the country.
The front room when you come in the door has an odd smell--perhaps it is a cleaning product that they use for something in the home. Fortunately we didn't have an allergic reaction to it, it was just annoying and didn't carry through into the bedroom areas. The deck on the back and the woods at the back of the yard were beautiful, although we didn't get a chance to use them.
The bed in the first floor bedroom was rather uncomfortable and the pillows in the house were all very soft and flat, as if they had no filling. After awakening sore after the first couple of nights, I suppose I got used to it.
I would definitely stay here again, as it is a very nice property at a very reasonable price. I recommend it despite the few (very small) criticisms noted above.
This is a beautiful property and well maintained home. My family of 5 enjoyed our long weekend. The house is very clean and well maintained. Everything was provided for us. The children (8 and 6) loved having their own space upstairs. The kitchen is spacious and well stocked. Bathrooms are clean and updated nicely. The children loved the backyard. They played in the creek and ran the trails. The fire pit was a big hit too. All in all great little house. We will definitely stay again.
A few recommendations 😁:
· a coat rack or hooks on the wall for jackets when you first walk in
· Hooks for towels in the bathroom
· Flood lights on the driveway and steps coming into house. The solar lights were not working correctly.
The owners have taken a great deal of care in renovating this house for vacation guests. It is clean, well-stocked and in a great location. The security deposit was returned within a week of our return home. With three bedrooms and two full baths, it is an excellent location for families (great yard too!). We enjoyed our stay, and we thought the price was fair.
Our stay in July 2016 was nice. The house was clean with basic amenities. The yard was great for kids to play and catch fireflies, however sits on a fairly busy road. The town of Loveland was great.
The owner was responsive to our concerns of a wasp nest under the deck and fire alarm going off from steam from the shower downstairs.
I would ask the owners to consider upgrading the pillows and mattresses, they were thin foam and uncomfortable. Also, if you prefer guests to not use the quilts as blankets, then please provide other blankets for use. It was nice to have an a/c window unit in the upstairs bedroom, but I would recommend that you pack ear plugs.
Overall it was a good place to stay, but would be much more enjoyable with a few upgrades. Thank you.
We were here last week and enjoyed the home and property. Newly renovated and nicely furnished. I didn't give it 5 stars only because it doesn't have a washer and dryer which you need when you are away for a week. There is a place for them in the basement. We have stayed in VRBO homes all over the world and this place is as good as any others. It is on a semi busy road but set far enough back that the traffic noise is no problem. There is a huge beautiful back yard and we used it to play ball, toss water balloons, roast marshmallows and just sit outside and enjoy the forest feel of the place. There is a wooded area behind the home and we saw two deer, ( a baby and mama) come into the yard for a brief time. We went into the quaint historic town to walk around and explore. A wonderful miles long bike and walking path set in a forest atmosphere except it has a paved road. No cars of course on this bicycle path. We probably walked four miles or so. Had ice cream in town a few times. Also I recommend the kayak and canoe trips also located downtown on the little Miami river. Very affordable and a nice way to spend time with family. You will see on the kayak trip, a castle on a hill. We visited and toured that on a rainy morning and thorougly enjoyed it.
I am always relieved to step into a rental and find it very clean, and I was not disappointed! Loved the kitchen/dining area, very open and roomy. The bedrooms were good-sized. Nice large closets. It was hot when we were there, and the house did stay cool on the main floor, really only needed the a/c to take down the humidity. There is a window a/c in the west-facing upstairs bedroom, which kept the room as cool as you wanted. We loved the deck and it's view of the woods. We had 4 adults in our party, and we never ran out of hot water. The quaint part of Loveland has restaurants and shops, and was quite bustling on the weekend.
