A fully updated two-story, two-bedroom two-and-one half bath town home in a quiet complex near the beach and village on Saint Simons Island. Walk or bike 3/4 of a mile to the beach or 1 1/4 mile to the village, restaurants, shops, fishing pier, and lighthouse. Private deck and yard shaded by live oaks. Saint Simons has it all--bike and walking trails, beach, village shops, golfing, and island time!
We purchased our condo because Susan spent part of her childhood on St. Simons and owning a home here has been a lifelong dream. We vacationed here through the years and formed our own connections as a couple to the island. Whether it was walking on the beach, golfing, or enjoying the village, our love for the Golden Isles grew with each visit. We finally took the leap and bought our condo. Now, we are excited to share our home with you.

We chose our condo because of its proximity to the beach, the Village and other favorite spots on the south end of the island. Although it's close to the heart of the action, we liked the fact that it's tucked away in a quiet residential area that isn't heavily trafficked. Quiet, but accessible--that's what we like about our island retreat.
As a duplex, our unit shares only one wall with another property. It also has a quiet fenced backyard which is great for evening barbeques or a quiet cup of coffee in the morning. Plus, the interior has been fully renovated and has a homey feel. We hope you agree.
I was to stay at this property until hurricane Matthew arrived. The owners of this property called prior to my arrival, and worked with me to find a solution to a weather event. I did get a refund, and I hope to stay at this property in the future. So sad, I was really looking forward to this vacation.

We enjoyed our stay on SSI and loved staying in this beautifully decorated townhome with all of the comforts of home. My husband, his brother & our sis-in-law loved the proximity of the place to everything -- the beach, the Village, the Pier were within walking or biking distance, and Fort Frederica and Epworth-by-the-Sea were just a short drive. We enjoyed the Art Festival that was going on the weekend we were there, walked the Village and out to the Pier, walked the beach, enjoyed dinner at Crab Trap and Crabdaddy's for dinner, and lunch - during a University of Georgia game - at Brogen's (UGA fans will love this place on game day!). A margarita at the rooftop bar at Blue Water Grille in the village overlooking the water was a nice end to one evening. We had ice cream at St. Simons Sweets and Moo Cow, toured Ft. Frederica, walked around Epworth, Christ Church, and Wesley Gardens. It was a perfect weekend and we enjoyed the comfortable furniture (great king bed!) to relax in and all the amenities when we got back to the townhome. Thanks so much!

This condo is in a quite area near the airport. Only a few muntes drive to the beach and shops. The beds are very comfortable and the condo is filled with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The bicycles are a nice bonus. Great weekend.
Our family truly enjoyed our time there, it was so close to everything, we were able to enjoy bike riding most of the time. It was very kind to have the two bikes available to use. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

By booking a stay at 204 Island Drive, Saint Simons, Georgia, the “renter” or “renters” agree to abide by all City, County, State and Federal Laws and Regulations. This includes not creating a disturbance, and not having more occupants than the number of occupants as described in the VRBO or Home Away inquiry or reservation sent by the “renter” residing at the premises. Violation by the “renters” will result in the “renters” vacating the premises without a refund. The Crains or “Owners” reserve the right to charge an additional charge for any damage or missing items, or if the property is left in bad condition to the credit card on file for the renter.
We would appreciate it if the “renters” would call or email us regarding any broken items or damage that occurs during their stay.
The “owners” will be held harmless and does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, or injury for “renters” or their personal property. In addition does not accept liability for any inconvenience arising from temporary defects or stoppage of water, gas, electricity caused by “renters” negligent or intentional conduct, weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond our control. In the rare or unlikely event that the “owners” must cancel a reservation for any reason, the refund will be limited to the amount paid to the “owners” for the stay. We are not responsible for any other expenses incurred.
Please treat our home as if it was yours. We appreciate you keeping the property and its contents in good order. Sorry but we do not allow smoking inside or pets.
