We had two families stay here over spring break and has plenty of space. The home was great! When we walked in, the first thing said out loud amongst all of us is that the home shows much better in person than it does in pictures.
I read in an earlier comment that the home was lacking kitchen supplies, but that was definitely not the case with our stay, as we had everything we needed. Although the home was well stocked with towels and linens, they could definitely use a little updating as you can tell they are old and well used. We did call the management company to assist with several lights that were out and many nails that were popping up on ALL the exterior decks/balconies. They send someone over (on a Sunday) almost immediately and took care of everything right away. At my request, they even left me a hammer in case they missed any nails that needed to be pounded in.
The area where this home is located is so private. We were here over spring break and there wasn't another person on the beach within 400 yds of us. The island itself if pretty quiet and there aren't many places to eat, but there are several good options right over the bridge on the mainland only 10 min away. We loved that we could walk over to the bay side and go fishing and play in the water of there as well.
Overall, the stay was so great that we extended an additional day. We will definitely come back to this area and would definitely consider staying at this home again as well.
We love the location- right on the beach and very private. My family Loved the large front porch. It is a great place to eat and just relax! The floor plan worked out great for us because each of the 3 bedrooms has a gulf front balcony and private bath. The house however needs a little updating. There were a lot of nails sticking up on the porch so we had to be careful with the two small children. The tubs have some mildew and bedspreads, linens Etc need to be updated.
We had a wonderful time at Paradiso!
My friend and I rented the Paradiso in 2013. The floor plan is good and the house is clean. The view off the deck is amazing. The view from the bedrooms fantastic. However for the price they really need to consider new beds, linens, upgraded TV's and stocking the kitchen with anything would be good. We worked with one pan and dollar store utensils. This house needs care and attention not just a fresh coat of paint. Paradiso has the opportunity to be paradise. The owners needs to make the small improvements.
