Jocelyn purchased this condo in 2006
We bought this beautiful oceanfront condo to spend our cold winters in, but would love to see it enjoyed by families in the warmer months. We take pride in our property, it's location and amenities and are responsive to any of our renters needs. Our condo is fully furnished so bring yourself and your loved ones, and come enjoy the Grand Strand!
We were so disappointed . We had to wait til 4:00 to get in so the cleaning people could have it ready. It was so disgustingly dirty. Smelled of mold from a leak in the roof. Crack in ceiling. The sheets and pillow cases were dirty. The beds weren't made. Bathrooms were dirty. Dirty towels were left on back of bathroom door. Toilet paper and dried contact left on the bathroom floor. Food left on the balcony table. Popcorn (came to find out it was from the ceiling leaking) all over floor. We did not get the value for how much we paid. If you rent this, you have no access to the water park, nor can you buy passes to get in. Defiantly a very disappointing trip. We were just lucky it didn't rain and we didn't have to worry about the ceiling.
I booked this property for a family of 7 with small children and one handicap person as a last minute getaway. I loved the beach access and the kid friendly atmosphere. A few things were disappointing like the amenties of the property such as the outdoor pool and lazy river area is off limits to guests of private owners. Meaning rented properties are not entitled to the same activities as guests of the resort, which was disappointing but not a deal breaker. The property is not fully handicap friendly to get from the garage area to the ground level you have to walk down a parking ramp and around. The toaster was not working in condo but otherwise a nice stay. The view is wonderful from the balcony...direct ocean view as soon as you step out! I would recommend for large families or groups...just beware of the lack of use of the outdoor pool area!!
We had a great time here the condo was great would definetly come back again
The listing was accurate, photos were accurate but the overall resort property was not clean or well maintained. The condo itself was nice but we got hit with an overwhelming smell/odor as soon as we walked in to the place and it lingered throughout the condo the entire time we we stayed there. The owners worked with us and had their cleaning people try to find the source of the smell but were unsuccessful, so we cut our trip short. The bedding, blankets and curtains and shower curtains desparately need updating and/or replacement. The entire resort staff were rude and wanted nothing to do with any of the people that were renting from "owners" which was uncalled for. If you are working in the customer service area, you need to be helpful and somewhat cheerful. They also would not let us use the kid's pool area with the lazy river because we were not guests of the property. The resort itself needs updating esecially in the restaurants and pool areas.
First off I wanted to say that this condo was exactly as descried, very clean, spacious, and beautiful views( I was a little worried because it is angled and not oceanfront) we literally could see for miles, which was nice because our trip was 4th of July week and we could see fireworks all up the coast.
My review is a little bit on the down side. The property owners where very nice, and very prompt however I was very disappointed in a few things that happened that I was unaware of before booking this condo. First off when my family arrived we went straight to the front desk to get our parking passes only to find out we had to pay for those. Not only was I a little upset we had to pay for parking and was unaware of it, the staff was horrible I have stayed at this hotel several times and I have never been so disappointed. This will be my last stay at this resort! The staff treated us as if we weren’t guests at this hotel. My second issue was the water-park. This hotel offers a very nice water-park, but don’t get your hopes up, you do not have access to use the resorts water-park if you do not book through the hotel. After telling my 3 yr old all about this park and her seeing it as soon as we pulled in, it broke her heart when we tried to enter and was denied. After her crying and just wanting to go have some fun I went back to the rude staff at the front desk to see if there was anything I could do or if I could buy passes, again she was very rude and disrespectful she looked at my 3yr old and said it wasn’t her problem and there is nothing we can do. At this point I was getting very upset not only was she yelling at us but people started to stare because she was making a fool out of herself yelling at me and my 3yr old on my hip. I immediately demanded to talk to a manager, which I never seen. Once again we were treated as if we weren’t guests. I really hate to write a bad review because the property owner was very nice and the condo was fantastic. I simply wish I would have been informed that we would not have access to the water-park and parking isn’t free.
We really had a great week. The condo is perfectly located being very close to Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing. The condo itself is kept very nice. There was plenty of room for the 9 of us. It has everything you need. The keyless entry is very convenient so that you don't have to worry about carrying or losing keys when you are at the beach. The pools were decent although because the ocean water is so warm we spent all of our time on the beach. The complex has a pizza shop which was nice for ordering pizza to take on the beach. (pizza very good and very reasonably priced) We would definitely consider renting this unit again.
