A semi retired professional married with two children at home. Have lived in Bend since 1987. Currently remodeling a 4 unit condominium in Bend OR to nightly, weekly, monthly vacation rental. I have traveled extensively and look forward to meeting new people and helping to share our wonderful town. A prior owner of the Suttle Lake Resort and Marina in Sisters, OR. I am also a licensed realtor in Oregon.
Gary Clow purchased this townhome in 1990
Our location is central to all that Bend and Central Oregon has to offer. Enjoy the views and our newly upgraded and furnished Townhome.
Excellent vacation location! My husband and I traded off riding bikes while the other stayed with our child. This place is really close to downtown so, while one of us had the car off playing, the other could find things to do by walking downtown or going to the river park that is right behind the townhouse. The owner was very kind and responsive to any and all of our questions. He even informed us about the local events. I would highly recommend this place!
We stayed in the 2BR townhouse for 6 nights in June. Very clean and comfortable unit, especially the beds. We had everything we needed and loved how close it was to downtown restaurants, shopping, and hiking. No air conditioning, but they did provide a fan and we really didn't need it. The owners are great to work with. Reserved parking was a big plus in this area. Definitely check out the new grocery store, the Market of Choice. Jackson's Corner restaurant is wonderful. We would definitely stay here again.
We were very pleased with the unit. Had everything we needed and very comfortable. The two queen bed setup was what we needed. Close to town and the Old Mill area. Excellent communication with the owner.
Would rent this unit again in the future.
We stayed here for our 34th anniversary. It was cold outside but warm and inviting inside. The kitchen is well stocked, even champagne glasses to celebrate our anniversary. Beautiful new furnishings and appliances, comfy beds, nice linens, washer and dryer for those staying longer. Nice bathrooms upstairs and down. There are great views of the Deschutes river and Mt. Bachelor from both the living room and upstairs bedroom. We had a delicious local organic breakfast at Jackson's corner just a few blocks away.(http://jacksonscornerbend.com/) Our little dog was welcome too. Loved it and would stay again.
My husband and I stayed here as the first guests at the end of our month long honeymoon. Gary, the owner, was great and we actually met him one morning. The townhouse is right on the river and you can actually see Mt Bachelor from the windows! I've stayed in Bend many times and never seen 'The Bach' from where we stayed in town. Great place to walk to town and easy parking. Highly recommend. Super clean with a great layout!
What’s not to love about a high-desert town with about 300 days a year of sunshine. This picturesque city of 80,000 is a seductive spot for travelers who are into craft brewing and the great outdoors. The bend region has 26 breweries, three wineries, two craft spirit distilleries, two cideries. There is a wealth of restaurants and fine eateries within walking distance or a short drive. Shopping in downtown or the old mill has theaters something for all to enjoy. World-class skiing at mount bachelor; and an embarrassment of riches for hikers, fishermen, climbers, stand-up paddle boarders and kayakers and over 30 golf courses. Run or hike or run through downtown, drake park and the old mill on the deschutes river trail. Smith rock state park, north of town, has sheer basalt walls and welded tuff cliffs that make it a magnet for rock climbers and hikers along the numerous trails. Cascade lakes highway. This 66-mile historic highway was selected by scenic america as one of the nation’s ten most important byways. It was also dedicated as a national forest scenic byway in 1989. The byway follows a journey of water through a volcanic landscape accentuated by 14 alpine lakes.
