Why Anita Lorentzen chose Kearney
Twelve years ago, I chose this location to build a home for my children. We had moved to town, and I missed the farms where I had grown up and lived until then. I moved a house from town and added a master suite and walk out basement, carefully choosing the positioning of the house and windows to maximize the open view. Guests have especially appreciated the cozy and relaxing environment -- indoors and out. The unique beach theme and tastefully done decor give the home a welcoming feel not found elsewhere in the area. The area is secluded with picturesque views of rolling hills, yet access to the business and entertainment venues in town is convenient.
Fun and comfortable
Top notch rooms and hospitality.
Cutest Caribbean Casa!
Anita's "Seas the Day" made our girls getaway perfect! Ultra clean, amazing hospitality and fun decor! Anita was even sweet enough to give us a ride into town before girl's night out! Pro tip: there is an Uber in town that can bring you home ;) We will certainly be back!! Do not skip this VRBO, it is THE BEST!!!
Very beautifully decorated! Had every amenity you could imagine. Thanks Anita and Raleigh for sharing your home with us.
Super cute and comfortable
My family met here for a long weekend together. Great location just outside of town. We didn't think we'd find much to do in Kearney, but we were wrong. Went to Pioneer Village, the arch, Fort Kearney, an escape room and the fun center (laser tag, mini-golf and bowling). Every night we played games in the living room. We'd planned to go to the water park in Grand Island, but it was closed for the season. I agree with an another reviewer who said the photos don't do it justice. The photos are cute - the house is cuter! I got the master bedroom, and the bed was as comfortable, if not more, than any hotel room I've stayed in. There's a nice grilling area and cute patio, or you can set up a large table for dining. The kitchen has lots of extras - sugar in the cupboard, condiments in the fridge, coffee and all the supplies you'd need. Thanks, Anita!
Lovely, clean, relaxing home!
We really enjoyed staying here. It was so peaceful. We shared the place with 2 other people so all of the bedrooms were full. Plenty of room for everyone and the deck was our favorite place. The amazing fish tank was source of enjoyment as well.
Beautiful and cozy, we felt very comfortable, and relaxed right away!
For a quick weekend getaway with friends, we couldn't have imagined a better spot. Not far out of town made it quiet, great views of the countryside, but only an few minutes into town for groceries and anything we needed.
