The apartment was exactly as advertised and provided us a wonderful place to relax after a full day at Jazz Fest. The place is clean, quiet, and restful. The hosts were very nice, helpful and gracious. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning worked like a charm. The lvining and dining rooms provided us space to lounge out and the two porches were an added bonus for having beers or coffee The kitchen is well stocked and complete with anything you could ask for. There were 3 of us gals coming from Atlanta and NYC and this home and the neighborhood were perfect for us. We could walk to the park, the grocery or catch Uber to anywhere in the city. A great stay and we'd come back in a heartbeat!
The owner of property was very nice and prepared. Beds were very comfortable. Place was very clean and security system was simple. Good floor plan layout as well. Thanks and we will do this again in tge near future.
The apartment was exactly like the posting so there were no surprises there. It was spacious and cute with all of the little Mardi Gras touches. Mary-Beth was AWESOME! She actually made us feel comfortable and we could certainly tell she was happy to have us all the way from Chicago. Throughout our stay she was always making suggesting, answering any questions we had or going an extra step. The only drawback was the location of the house was further than I expected. We had to walk about a mile to the streetcar or half mile to the bus route. The house in Metairie so if you stay here I suggest getting a rental car and just park it near the french quarter area because New Orleans as a city requires a lot of walking.
The property was clean and our hosts were gracious enough to pick us up from our hotel so that we didn't have to spend money on a cab. We were very well taken care of the entire time and the hospitality was beyond exceptional. We felt at home here and would definitely stay again!
The place was clean and in great condition. The owner was on site and very responsive to any needs. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were quiet. The living and dining areas were spacious and comfortable, and the kitchen was well supplied for those that would want to cook. A washer and drier were available for any laundry needs. The neighborhood was well located to access the city. It was a great weekend getaway spot.
I am newly retired and there are so many places I want to exlplore. This was my first experience with a VRBO, and what a great discovery! I will definitely VRBO again.
We all have our own criteria for a place to stay, and #1 and 2 for me are a comfortable bed and bath, and this property had both. The beds, and bedding were wonderful and cozy. The bath, with a large walk-in shower and lots of grab bars, was supplied with lots of towels.
My sister and I also appreciated the comfort of the central air, which worked well and provided even temperatures and relief from the outside humidity. It rained much of the week we were in New Orleans, so it was a bonus to have the space of an apartment, with terrifically comfortable recliners to sit and visit with one another, and a dining room with a large table for game playing.
Having spent a week in New Orleans before, I very much appreciated that there was no problem parking my car, and the neighborhood felt safe no matter what time we came in at night.
Our hosts were friendly and anxious to provide us with anything that might make our stay more comfortable. Mary Beth even arrived at our front door with delicious rice and beans and warm bread one night!
