My wife and I spent several days in New York this past week and this apartment was perfect for us. The apartment was clean and comfortable and offered easy access to midtown, cabs and subway, plenty of food options and a secure building well staffed. Enjoy!
Very convenient and great views
We found the location great...allowed us to walk to museums through the Central Park where trees were blooming, people and animals were enjoying themselves and scents were lovely. The apartment was comfortable and close to several grocery stores including Whole Foods so we were able to pick up something to cook on the way back to the apt at the end of the day. We enjoyed memorable views while dining or relaxing. The only reason for the 4-stars was the bed was quite hard and the mattress was slanted to one side. I guess everyone has their own preference for the softness/hardness of a mattress.
Comfortable, with a terrific location
The apartment was comfortable, with all the basic requirements of appliances, kitchenware, linens, etc. Views from the apartment were great. Management was responsive to questions and requests. The few possible improvements in furnishings, appliances and decor were insignificant in the face of the location and livability.
The location was absolutely perfect for our visit: Near Columbus Circle, Lincoln Center and Central Park. The local neighborhood had dozens of restaurants with all cuisines and levels of excellence, from the best (and most expensive) food in the city to classic neighborhood dives and everything in between. It was a nice walk to the Theater District, MOMA and many of the other most popular sites in New York. The Columbus Circle subway station gave easy to the whole city.
The size and layout of the apartment easily accommodated occasional overnight visits from children and grandchildren.
We are a retired couple, familiar with New York, who had a long-time goal of spending an extended time in the city. We stayed a month and would love to come back to this apartment when we can.
