Luck House Rental Photos and Description

Luck, Wisconsin

Envision a quiet lakeside retreat surrounded by beaches, wide open spaces, and fascinating wildlife. You’ll experience all of this and more when you stay at this amazing Luck vacation rental cabin on Bone Lake!

From the moment you first arrive, you’ll be in awe of this rustic 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin, nestled on 100-feet of sand and pebble lakeshore. A gentle slope leads directly from the cabin to Bone Lake, one of Northwest Wisconsin’s premier fishing lakes, allowing for easy water access. In addition, the home’s private 70-foot dock offers even more convenience for guests bringing boats, fishing gear, and various water toys.

The west-facing home is ideally situated to watch striking sunsets over the water, which you’re sure to enjoy on the expansive deck. While you’re barbecuing with the charcoal grill or simply relaxing outdoors, make sure to look out for loons and bald eagles residing on the lake, as well as deer, turkey, and some black bears roaming through the area. If that’s not enough to keep you outdoors, the property features a fire pit, trampoline, kayak, paddle board, paddle boat, and an aqua lily pad, all of which ensure nothing but fun for guests of all ages!

Inside, the home perfectly reflects the up north feel, boasting cozy furnishings, beautiful stained glass windows, and wildlife mounts on the walls. The lakeside of the cabin features expansive wall-to-wall windows, offering sweeping lake views. There’s plenty of space to spread out and relax throughout 2,000 square feet of tastefully decorated living space, complete with an inviting living room, spacious lower level family room, and enough sleeping arrangements for 6 guests.

After an exciting day on the lake, prepare a delicious home-cooked meal in the large kitchen, which was updated in 2014 with brand new appliances and Cambria countertops. Later, unwind in the comfortable living room, where you can cozy up by the wood-burning stove, as you watch your favorite movies on the flat screen TV with DVD player or surf the web with the wireless internet. When you’re ready to call it a night, retreat to one of the inviting bedrooms to rest up for the next eventful day in the great outdoors!

You certainly won’t have to venture far from the cabin to access the seemingly endless supply of outdoor recreation within the area! Bone Lake covers 1,800 acres and is 7 miles long, offering a myriad of water-based activities, from swimming and waterskiing to jet skiing and kayaking. It’s no secret that the lake is famous for its prime fishing opportunities, with panfish in abundance as well as musky and trophy bass being the primary game fish in the lake. The house makes a great fall retreat too. As the lake quiets down from an active summer and winter approaches, the fishing fishing really picks up. Enjoy your evening grilling and looking out from the porch as the foliage in the area absolutely explodes with color!

Even when the lake is blanketed in snow, the outdoor activities abound. In the wintertime, explore the area by cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or ice fishing in front of the cabin. In addition, a popular snowmobile trail runs north to south over the lake and will take you all the way to the south shore of Lake Superior. If down hill is more your speed, both Trollhaugen and Wild Mountain ski areas are less than 40 minutes away! Should you feel like venturing further from the cabin, drive 1 hour and 15 minutes to Minneapolis, where you can browse major shopping centers, tour local breweries, and dine at great restaurants. The possibilities for adventure are endless here, but they are all accessible when you book this incredible Luck vacation rental cabin!

Wonderful lake home!

  • 5 of 5

We had family come from Colorado and everyone had a great time. The house is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The trampoline was a huge hit with the kids and the adults enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Fishing off the dock was excellent and we rented a pontoon from a resort just down the road to enjoy the lake. It rained a little but there were a lot of games to play inside and everyone stayed happy.

Fall in northern Wisconsin

  • 4 of 5

Its a beautiful time of the year in Northern Wisconsin, with leaves changing colors and the weather changing to cooler days and nights. Usually this time of year there are three couples that travel here to go Muskie fishing and enjoy the great outdoors, with coming back to a nice place to warm up. This home was a nice place that did that, with beautiful views of the lake, the decor was outstanding, and very comfortable. Loved the set up with the house having the exposed lower level with a family room and two bedrooms, and upper level one bedroom with a masterbath and another bath on main level. Owner is really great to work with, and provided good customer service. You have Turtle lake casino and the St.Croix winery within 30 miles.

Activities and amenities abound!

  • 5 of 5

We had an excellent time at this property. Although the weather didn't cooperate as much as we would have liked, the house left us with plenty to enjoy. There are plenty of things for everyone here, indoor or outdoor. The kids especially enjoyed the zip-line, trampoline, paddle board, and kayak. They even started fishing off of the dock on their own the last couple of days. I had a bit of luck myself elsewhere on the lake. In total, we caught 6 different species....5 of them from the dock alone! We will be returning!

Perfect Summer Home on Bone Lake

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our week in this beautiful home on Bone Lake. The accommodations were perfect for us, our adult children and grandchildren. The trampoline was a huge hit and we used it multiple times a day along with the water toys (paddle board, kayak, pedal boat and lily pad). Besides seeing the bald eagles daily we saw the black bear on 2 mornings during our stay. We plan to make it an annual trip.

Beautiful home on a stunning lake

  • 5 of 5

My family has been staying at this home every summer for the last several years. The home is very large and smartly set up accommodate large groups. Two separate living areas for privacy. Kitchen is beautifully updated with a giant table to feed lots of hungry folks. Amazing wrap around porch with great views of the lake. This home is at the end of a dead end road, so it is VERY quite. Lots of nearby opportunities to mountain and road bike. The lake is stunning; clear water, families of bald eagles, easy boat access. The lake is very long, so it is fantastic for wakeboarding, etc. Also, it's a very quite lake, so you will have almost no other boat traffic to contend with during your stay. You will not be disappointed with this property!
