When you walk in this home, you will be welcomed by the open feeling offered by the high ceilings, large foyer, and natural light pouring in from the windows. The main living room has a TV/DVD, radio, iPod player, built-in shelving and cabinets, and leads out to the large back deck with gas grill and a private pool and spa. This area provides a bathroom, sink and cabinets for use while enjoying the pool and deck. The living room also leads to the screened porch. This outdoor haven is sure to be a favorite family gathering place. The fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless steel top-of-the-line appliances flows into the living room and provides lots of cabinet space, granite countertops, a center island with a sink and a wood block top for food preparation, and a bar area with wine cooler and ice machine. The double ovens with warming shelf above the hood provide lots of room for preparing meals for family and friends during your stay. The dining room offers a round table with seating for 8 and additional seating on 4 bar stools.
The master suite with king bed leads to the back deck and pool through its private screened porch. Offering large closets, a dressing area, jetted tub, large shower, and 2 large sink areas, this master suite and private porch will make you never want to leave this home. A laundry room is conveniently located off of the master bathroom as well.
Four bedrooms with private bathrooms and walk-in closets are located on the second floor. On the left side of the house are 2 bedrooms. The bedroom on the back of the house shares access to the screened porch with the upstairs media room and features a king bed and bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. The bedroom on the front of the house offers a queen bed and bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. On the right side of the house are 2 more bedrooms. The bedroom on the back of the house offers 2 twin bunk beds and bathroom with 2 sinks and a tub/shower combination. The bedroom on the front of the house features a queen bed and a bathroom with 2 sinks and a shower. All bedrooms offer TV's as well. The second floor living room with TV/DVD has access to a screened porch which overlooks the pool and deck. A second laundry room is located on the second floor.

The home is located in Vanderhorst Plantation which is beyond the second gate on Kiawah Island. While vacationing on Kiawah Island you are sure to enjoy the many miles of bike trails, the 10 miles of pristine beach, the World Class Golf and Tennis facilities, dining opportunities, and local shopping. Historic Charleston is also located about 45 minutes away where you can enjoy live theater, antiquing, low country cuisine, shopping, and visiting many historical sites around the city.

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.
