River's Edge is a Beautiful home

  • 4 of 5

We had a family vacation of 19 people. Ages ranged from 10 days old to 61. Everyone loved the house. There was one issue that caused problems and that was July 90 degree weather and no AC. We had two days in the 90's. The first day the house had been closed up and it was very hot and uncomfortable. The property manage brought us more fans and this did help some for the second 90 + degree weather. Judy did an awesome job helping us out and supplying us with what we needed. I would love to return to this property someday. The kids loved, loved the house and grounds. Having the river at our backdoor was absolutely awesome.

Our family of sixteen just returned from a second glorious week at River's Edge. Both the indoor and outdoor space are incredible. The children loved the trampoline and expansive yard and we all loved the river and easy access to hiking and biking trails. The property manager was very helpful and we absolutely hope to return next year.

Wonderful Family Christmas!

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house for our family Christmas of 9 adults and 4 small children. The house was just the right size, in a beautiful setting on the river, and close to town. We would highly recommend!

Wonderful Thanksgiving house

  • 5 of 5

The house was great for our family get together for thanksgiving week. The kitchen was well equipped for us to make a large dinner. It was very helpful to have the two ovens and refrigerators. The location is nice as it is close to Glenwood, the pool, etc but not to near to other people. The grandkids enjoyed the trampoline and our son loved the fishing. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Great family reunion location

  • 5 of 5

We had a terrific family reunion. The grounds were terrific for playing games, sitting around the fire and playing in the river. We had a total of 15 people with kids age 3 to 16. They loved the amusement park, mountain biking and hiking that we did in Glenwood Springs. They also loved being at the home having water balloon fights in the spacious front lawn and eating way too much food cooked in the terrific kitchen. Everyone had enough space to stretch out and and store their items. It's a quick drive to Glenwood Springs but far enough away to feel like you are on your own. We had 4 cars and 15 bike all which had a place with room to spare. The river was a real treat and we decided to spend our time on the river than at the hot springs. Our first day we spent at the Adventure park where all of the kids said it was better than Disney. It's small but has some terrific and terrifying rides. The second day we hiked Hanging lake, one of my favorites, just arrive early so you can get a parking spot. The third day we biked up the path along the Colorado river and took the older kids on some mountain bike trails. This town has the best network of bike paths and mountain bike trails. Every place we went you could get there on bike if you wanted. Everyone from the youngest to oldest, grandma, was able to participate. The only complaint was that we should have stayed a couple more days to do more of the great activities available in Glenwood Springs. It is such a great place for active families.
