Modern classic that defines mountain living in a 3 bedroom single level design
About David Banta
Our experience managing yachts that chartered for up to $25,000 a day, you read that correctly, has influenced our management style at Mountain Symphony and our sister vacation home in nearby Woodland Park, Trout Creek Villa. You won’t have a helicopter, private chef, or your own cabin steward but you will feel, most importantly, that the house is yours. You are not a guest but like our yacht clients, the occasional owner. Our yachts and Mountain Symphony were designed for vacation living with amenities and details that few vacation homes and no hotels offer.
Why David Banta chose Woodland Park
Why this property? As proud owners who designed and built the house, we are incredibly biased and to avoid embarrassing ourselves with overly grandiose comments we have pulled the following comments from our guest book. "We get the symphony part of your name, each morning before the kids were up demanding what we were going to do each day we would set outside with our coffee and relish the peace of your mountain symphony, the gurgle of the little stream, distant waterfall, and wind in the pines" "Our favorite experience was the hike up the falls. The trail begins up the street from the house. Pretty easy climb that switchbacks to the top of the falls and a beautiful meadow where we found wild strawberries and a magnificent view of the town. We met hikers with fishing poles who said that they were continuing on to the Pikes Peak reservoirs further up the trail" "What a lovely village, it reminds me of the simple little villages in the Alps that I remember from my youth. Three quaint restaurants, a lake with steep mountains rising up each sides dotted with summer cabins. The least commercial place I have been to in in Colorado" "Walked to the town center this morning for breakfast, took us about 30 minutes as my 5 year old son had to continually check the stream for fish. Across from the lake we had the best breakfast I can remember, really! Cinnamon Bread toast, how can you go wrong with that. It’s popular so get there early or late morning" Can’t say enough about this house, better than the photos, location on the road to the falls was perfect, mostly hiker traffic and a view of the mountain that the falls come down from". "Perfect location minutes from Manitou, Cave of the winds, North Pole amusement park, if you have kids the penny arcade in Manitou is a must visit that not everyone knows about"

Great summer home away from the city
We were looking for a home that was in an area with a lot of outdoor activities close by but not too far away from civilization. This house delivered by being close to great hiking and fishing spots. The house was very clean and had a wonderful variety of kitchen/bath items available for our use. This house is close to Hwy 24 and is about 30 minutes away from Colorado Springs. A grocery store is about 12 minutes away. There are very limited options with regards to any sort of grocery/food delivery and if you need to use Lyft, you usually have to plan for it a few hours in advance. No quick pickups. The neighborhood is very pretty and they have a stocked pond along with a few decent restaurants at the entrance. Also available is a community swimming pool, basketball court, playground and tennis courts. Pike's Peak is 10 minutes away and the Broadmoor is about 25 minutes away. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. If you have 1 or 2 young children, then the house would be very comfortable. We have preteen boys, so it felt a little crowded at times. There is a small side yard but the mountain is directly behind the house so no large area for the kids to play around the house. Our boys were old enough where we felt comfortable letting them ride their bikes down to the pond and open area so they could run around. The owners were always quick to respond and we had no issues with the house at all. They have secured WiFi, a warming drawer, washer/dryer, outdoor grill, house phone and all of the comforts of a modern home. Overall, a fun vacation home for an active couple or family! Thanks so much, David and Pam!
Great Home in a beautiful setting
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lovely and comfortable home convenient to a variety of activities and sightseeing.
Beautiful home; close proximity to our chosen activities. Home was incredibly well stocked with all of your basic needs and more. Owners were very pleasant and responded quickly to any communication. Would love to come back and stay for longer - highly recommend this VRBO.
We had a great family vacation staying in Green Mountain Falls in this house. It was so nice to visit a vacation home that had all of the basics on hand. Our kids loved visiting the creek and tennis court. The house is in a great location for visiting local attractions also!! Would highly recommend a vacation here!
Perfect Mountain retreat
Pam is a delight to deal with. Property was amazing. views were breathtaking. We loved absolutely everything about our stay at this home. The check-in and out process was so smooth. Neighbors are very friendly and the town is so quaint. I highly recommend staying at this property.
Beautiful home! Beautiful setting!
The home was fully equipped and the Pam was a marvelous host. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming again.
Thank you for allowing us to stay in your Colorado paradise!
Reno was a guest that makes owning a vacation home so satisfying. A delight to communicate, took great care of “Mountain Symphony” and left it as if it were their own. It would be a privilege to have Reno back.
