In the heart of the pikes peak region there is a unique resort village captured by pine covered mountains, two water falls, and a trout lake. It is appropriately called Green Mountain Falls. On the road to the falls is the newest vacation home in the region, Mountain Symphony. Recognized for its achievements in design that blends classic cabin ambiance with Five Star amenities, Mountain Symphony is already considered one of the finer vacation homes in the Pikes Peak region .
Accommodations rival that of fine hotels like the Colorado Springs Broadmoor with king beds, fine linens, granite counters, professional cooking appliances, large showers with temperature select controls, stone fireplaces and mountain views.
Located in the very center of the Pikes Peak region's major tourist attractions, Mountain Symphony is surrounded by rocky mountain beauty. Mount Dewey Preserve is its back yard and a cool mountain stream runs along its entry road. It is walking distance to two waterfalls, beautiful hiking trails, three restaurants, swimming pool, and a trout lake. Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Seven Falls, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Manitou Incline, North Pole amusement park and Pikes Peak toll road are all within 15 minutes. The Air force Academy is 30 minutes away.
Green Mountain Fall’s restaurants include: The Pantry, the most popular breakfast restaurant in the region, the Mucky Duck for fireside fine dining, and the Blue Moose Tavern with an outdoor dining deck overlooking the lake.
Mountain Symphony is accepting summer reservations beginning May 1 , 2015

Mountain Symphony is a great house with a wonderful, warm feeling. Every detail has been attended to and the size was perfect for four adults and two children. The king beds were so comfortable with great linens. The fact that the kitchen is stocked with lots of basics and soap, laundry detergent and paper products is a wonderful bonus! This is a place you won't want to leave. The location to attractions and restaurants, etc is perfect. There is so much to do in this area. We fell in love with this area and this house and will be back again for sure. The Bantas were so accommodating and easy to deal with.
This is a very nicely styled and well-equipped house in a quiet mountain neighborhood. It feels like a mountain getaway but is still very conveniently located to the local towns, activities and Colorado Springs. We enjoyed fishing on the South Platte river and the hike to the Catamount reservoirs with the trailhead just down the street. The Bantas were very helpful and attentive to details during booking and our stay.
When we left Mountain Symphony, we took with us wondrous stories and memories. This mountain house turned out to be an amazing retreat for us. The home is situated on an absolutely gorgeous mountainside with stunning views, wildlife, and an adorable mountain stream running through it. We found lots of enjoyable things to do in the area, but most of all we found ourselves just wanting to relax and enjoy the property. If you love to cook like we do, you will find the kitchen to be amazing! It's well equipped with everything you need so nothing but great times there creating our favorite dishes. The overall layout and design of the house was perfect for us. We loved the simple flow from kitchen to dinning area to the mountain view room. The Mountain View Room is absolutely stunning and was by far and away our favorite place to spend time - sipping morning coffee, lazy afternoons reading, and having cocktails in the evening (can you tell we loved that room?). The owners, Pam and David, were great to work with and their attention to detail was quite obvious. We could tell they take great pride in the property and they really wanted us to enjoy our stay (we did). The only negative...we didn't want to leave. We will be back.
Quaint, yet sophisticated. The amenities were top notch and so were the owners. I am already planning on a future visit to one of their other properties in the area.
We loved Mountain Symphony! The cabin is awesome and the setting is absolutely beautiful!! Pam and David Banta are great people and a pleasure to work with. They have done a wonderful job, making sure that every detail is covered. The cabin is the most well-stocked cabin we have ever stayed in and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed walking into Downtown Green Mountain Falls, a quaint little town with a great restaurant, beautiful hiking & waterfalls and a stocked pond with ducks and a park. Nearby Woodland Park & Manitou Springs are also packed with great restaurants and lots of things to see & do. We definitely plan on returning to Mountain Symphony in the future!!
This is a modern, sophisticated luxury cabin in a serene rustic setting. Our stay exceeded our expectations. If you want to get away from it all in the Rockies, this is the place to do it if you don't have a large entourage. The photos don't do justice to the cabin. It has the amenities you'd expect in a 5 star hotel, but without the sterile appointments. We felt at home almost immediately. The open, fully equipped kitchen has a banquette where we enjoyed leisurely meals, coffee and chats. It looks out on the living area, with its soaring stone fireplace and an artfully designed multi-purpose entertainment center/bookcase/wall divider leading into a cozy study/office with a comfortable sofa with a/ pull out bed. The natural light is stunning in this open area. Step down to the guest quarters and the master bedroom with heavenly king size beds and elegant bathrooms with the amenities we expect in a 5 star hotel. We especially loved sitting outside to read or meditate and at night to gaze at the brilliant stars, experience the tranquillity of cool gentle breezes rustling through the trees. This place is a stress-free zone. There are a myriad of options for resting and relaxing or engaging in robust physical activities, including climbing the Falls, taking long walks around the town, dining at the Mucky Duck or the casual restaurants nearby. We were within easy driving distance to Manitou Springs - a must on this trip and down into Colorado Springs, for shopping and dining.....don't miss The Broadmoor! Woodland Park also offers shopping, dining and other services, and is the gateway to Cripple Creek, an old gold mining town. You can see Indian ruins, visit a wolf sanctuary, or play golf. The co-owners provide a plethora of brochures of all the things to do in the area. The sky's the limit! We had one of the best laid back vacations ever on this road less travelled.
