About the property

Modern classic that defines mountain living in a 3 bedroom single level design

In the heart of the pikes peak region there is a unique resort village captured by pine covered mountains, two water falls, and a trout lake. It is appropriately called Green Mountain Falls. On the road to the falls is the newest vacation home in the region, Mountain Symphony. Recognized for its achievements in design that blends classic cabin ambiance with Five Star amenities, Mountain Symphony is already considered one of the finer vacation homes in the Pikes Peak region .

Accommodations rival that of fine hotels like the Colorado Springs Broadmoor with king beds, fine linens, granite counters, professional cooking appliances, large showers with temperature select controls, stone fireplaces and mountain views.

Located in the very center of the Pikes Peak region's major tourist attractions, Mountain Symphony is surrounded by rocky mountain beauty. Mount Dewey Preserve is its back yard and a small is across the road n front. It is walking distance to two waterfalls, beautiful hiking trails, three restaurants, swimming pool, and a trout lake. Cave of the Winds, Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Seven Falls, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Manitou Incline, North Pole amusement park and Pikes Peak toll road are all within 15 minutes. The Air force Academy is 30 minutes away.

Green Mountain Fall’s restaurants include: The Pantry, the most popular breakfast restaurant in the region, the Mucky Duck for fireside fine dining, and the Blue Moose Tavern with an outdoor dining deck overlooking the lake.

Mountain Symphony is accepting summer reservations beginning May 1 , 2015

Wonderful Holiday Spent at Green Mountain Falls

  • 5 of 5

We just spent six nights/seven days over the Christmas Holiday at the Mountain Symphony property located in the neighborhood/town of Green Mountain Falls. I'd chosen this property mostly due to it's location which is centrally located to Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, Colorado Springs and Divide (most of which I have family in). The booking process was as quick and simple as can be as was the informational communication that followed up to and including during our stay.

The property itself far exceeds the pictures posted. Situated in a quiet, sleepy little neighborhood known as Green Mountain Falls, David's architectural talent certainly makes this home stand out compared to most of the neighbors. There was little vehicle and foot traffic during our week there, I'm sure the weather limited the nearby hiking trail's appeal. Inside the home, we found probably the cleanest of rental homes we've encountered. The master suite is amazing with a gas fireplace, built-out walk in closet, and bath with dual sinks and a large walk in shower. The second bedroom had a comfortable king size bed, plenty of closet space and connected to the hall bath by a second door (which also has a walk in shower). To put icing on the cake, both baths have skylights bringing in tons of natural light during the day. There is an office area off of the main living room/kitchen/dining area that can be closed off and the fold out couch can make it a third bedroom. The furnishings in the main living area as well as the office are very comfortable and with the open floor plan you really do get that "homey feel". There's a wood fireplace to keep your body as warm as your heart is by this beautiful property. The kitchen is stocked with more than anyone could possibly want. We hosted family breakfasts and dinners for up to eight so our family in the area wouldn't have the burden of all meals. To our amazement both the pantry and fridge were stocked with every dry good and condiment possible, this alone saved us so much at the grocery. We made sure to leave items as well as a courtesy to future renters as others had obviously done for us.

All in all, this home is exactly that, a home. One that's appeal doesn't end at the curb, from the moment you open the door you are welcomed into an absolutely beautiful and comfortable place to call your own if only for a short time. Pam and David have made sure all who stay here will not just love the property but want to return!

Great location to enjoy the outdoors

  • 5 of 5

The home was perfect for our get away. It was close enough to Colorado Springs, but far enough out to feel like we were deep in the woods. The home is well appointed and really a very useable design. We had 3 couples and it was plenty big. The trails are only a few houses down and there are a couple good places to grab a bite within walking distance.

We really enjoyed the area and the house.

Amazing Mountain home!!

  • 5 of 5

Thank you so much for allowing us to spend a week in your Colorado mountain home. Our family of 4 had an amazing time. There is so much to see & do in the area. The house has everything you could possible need for your stay. We enjoyed the hiking trail and fishing nearby, as well as relaxing inside after a long day exploring. Pam makes the process very easy & is great to work with!

Beautiful Home in the Woods

  • 5 of 5

This is a beautiful home hidden in the quiet woods of Green Mountain Falls, but with easy access to everything Colorado Springs has to offer. Manitou shopping and night life, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, and downtown Colorado Springs are all minutes away. The home is better than advertised. Two master bedrooms with their own baths, and a large sleeper sofa in one of the two living areas. We've stayed in many VRBO properties. This was the best stocked kitchen we've ever experienced. A two-car garage was a nice bonus too. Pam, the owner, met us when we arrived, showed us how to work the TV and internet. Later in the week, when we experienced a minor problem with the washing machine, she addressed it immediately. She couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. The neighborhood is lovely and unbelievably quiet. It was perfect for two couples. We highly recommend it.
