A great place for a family vacation

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed our stay! The condo was clean, comfortable and well equipped with all we needed and more! The recreation centre was conveniently located and with 3 young boys we made good use of the facilities. The garage was a bonus as well. It is a great place to vacation and we all appreciated it. The boys thought maybe we should book now for next year. The owner Barb was extremely accomodating.

What more can you ask for? Fabulous!

  • 5 of 5

Lovely location, walking distance to everything. Quiet family neighbourhood. The condo is in immaculate condition with lots of rooms and decks. Fully stocked with kitchen tools, barbecue, deck chairs, games both indoor and outdoor, extra towels, fans etc. Just bring some food and you're home. The price can't be beat for the area. You do need to be able to walk stairs so just a caution for the ambulation impaired and not a negative as this lay out allows for separation and elbow room for a majority of people/families. Good communication from the renter as well. Highly recommend!

Great Value Rental

  • 5 of 5

My family and I (adult couple with three young kids) have been renting this unit for the past year or so. It is beautifully accomodated with everything you'd need to enjoy a comfortable stay and be fully self-sufficient. The kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meals. The bedrooms are equipped with all linens and towels. The location is on a ridge with beautiful mountain views from both the front and back of the unit. Big Horn sheep and deer frolic just outside the unit and make for entertaining with your morning coffee. It is quiet and isolated yet close enough that you could easily walk to town. Just outside the front door is a pathway that heads down into the river valley along a pleasant walking trail. Barb, the owner, is a pleasure to deal with and has been great with us over the time that we have been renting from her. I would not hesitate to recommend her place to anyone and cannot say enough good things about Radium and the hidden gem that it is in the Columbia Valley.

Great early season mountain biking getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Every once in a while a Banffite needs to get away, and by the seventh month of winter (April) this Banffite was a little desperate to get away from the snow and ice. But what to do when you only have a couple of days? Go to "Costa Radium," of course! Like most locals and lucky visitors alike, I've enjoyed my fill of spring skiing in the Bow Valley. But just a 90 minute drive from Banff lies an entirely different ecosystem, and Barb & Ted's Borrego Ridge condo in Radium Hot Springs is the perfect getaway. Just a few easy-to-navigate minutes from the intersection of Highways 93 & 95, it's the perfect home base for outings in the Columbia Valley. Located at the end of a quiet neighbourhood street, the condo looks out on beautiful mountain vistas. Outside the back door and just off the street you'll see grazing deer and sheep. For those like me who love to mountain bike, a variety of excellent early season trails await, and provide an excellent opportunity to explore the nearby offerings of Invermere, Windermere & Fairmont Hot Springs. I just got to ride roughly 70 km of trails in two days, gorged on sweet chili ribs and shrimp at Back Country Jack's (Radium), had coffee and a maple bacon donut at Quality Bakery in Invermere, and enjoyed a refreshing wade in Columbia Lake. Coming home from these adventures to Borrego Ridge was such a delight. Clean, welcoming and well appointed, it has everything you need to relax and kick back. Make your own meals in its bright, spacious kitchen. Cozy up in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy a movie, play board games, or read a magazine. If you need ideas for things to do in the area, the house binder has maps and visitor guides. House "systems" are well organized and easy to navigate so you won't waste time settling in or checking out. Barb and Ted are attentive and caring hosts who want to know that you've had a great time. I sure did!

Enjoyable and comfortable stay!

  • 5 of 5

The unit was very clean, warm and private. It was well furnished, with comfortable beds and equipped with all the necessary kitchen appliances, tools and dishes.

It is located in a quiet area with easy access to the main roads. Please note that this area is not mapped on GPS or GoogleMaps, so ask your hosts for directions (we relied on GPS and got lost a bit, not a bid deal though).

We will definitely recommend this property and this beautiful area to all our friends
