Bluewater1501 was delightful, but some cons were evident. Make no mistake, we would go back in an instant, and you would choose well if you picked this property. Some of the minor problems were, I think, the rental agency's responsibility. Burned out light bulbs, summer bugs still in the overhead kitchen light, water heater turned way down. We had to leave a couple of hours between short showers to have enough hot water. They turned it up, but it did not help much. I would imagine the owner would be the one to install a larger water heater. The shower/faucet screeched in a horribly way when used. Also, the refrigerator ice maker made a terrible noise when it was making ice. Appliances need to be upgrades badly, and the cleaning crew needs to be watched more carefully. We never met with nor were we allowed to talk to the owner. Another time a man who was checking for a water leak somewhere in the building just unlocked our door and walked in, announcing he was there to check the leak. We knew nothing about a leak, were not informed there was a leak, and he did not even knock on the door. Towards the end of our stay the entry lock malfunctioned, we were given the wrong code to get back in, and had to go to the rental office to get the correct one. The vents in both bathrooms were caked with dust and barely functioning. But what I believe were the owner's responsibility fell a bit short also. The shower heads in both bathrooms were ancient and had a very poor water flow. Pressure was fine, but the heads were not. Maintenance switched the heads for us so at least the master bath was better. The main problem was the living room furniture. Cute at one time, it was very old and well-used. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that it was an embarrassment when our son visited over Christmas and had to sleep on it. My husband and I took turns between sitting on the sofa and the one chair.
They were both uncomfortable but the sofa was worse. It was not enjoyable sitting on that furniture for a month. But the balcony was worth it all. It was amazing. By all means, rent this unit just for that. In all, the unit was decorated in a charming manner, very bright and cheery. We loved it.
Condo was in a good location with easy access to grocery stores, dining, etc. Condo was very clean and adequate size for my family. We enjoyed our stay.
Top floor, wifi and blue-ray. Close to grocery stores. Our 5 year old and 75 year old loved it!
When they got hot, we went to indoor pool. Fun, fun and fun! Will be back!
