We had a wonderful experience at Cabin Fever. Very friendly owners and great location! We definitely plan to return next year.
This was a girl's golf weekend and I couldn't ask for a more convenient place to stay. Right around the corner from Boone Golf Club, a nice Ellis Maples layout, then we played Hound Ears which was beautiful, also an easy ride away. One day was a little rainy but the place is plenty big and we all have to be connected so it was nice that the wifi was excellent. Also, with HULU and Netflix, plenty to keep us interested on a rainy day. The owners were easy to work with so, all together a wonderful fall weekend in the mountains.
This quiet cabin offered many modern comforts while being rustic and comfortable for our family. Perfectly located between Boone and Blowing Rock it offered easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and local dining and shopping options. Check in and check out process was painless. Only negative was amount of construction noise & traffic going on nearby, which I expect to be short term. Overall a wonderful cabin and we look forward to visiting again soon!
thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish. The owner made the process so easy and personal. She even called to be sure we had arrived safely. The cabin had everything mentioned and much more. It is obvious the owners went to extra effort to be provide for our comfort and pleasure.
The cabin could not be in a more perfect location. It is minutes from the parkway, Tweetsie, Blowing Rock and Boone. Yet it is very private and quiet. We loved sitting in the rockers on the porch and listening to the sounds around us. We will be back. Thanks so much for sharing.
This was our second stay and it was again a great location. There is plenty to do within an hour drive with and without children. The cabin is spacious to please a crowd and the covered porch area is great. Looking forward to be back.
We arrived on a cold rainy weekend day to this warm and cozy but spacious mountain top home. We have been here several times before and always are sad when it is time to go. The lay out in this house is wonderful for gathering a crowd. There is plenty of room to visit with each other and to cook or to just enjoy the fire. We always end up having a big family get together when we stay here because this house can handle a crowd. We only had 12 for dinner this time and had room for all. We never have to worry about fiirewood because it was provided. This is our favorite spot to stay in Boone. We will definitely be back.
