About Carol Wester

We live in Staples and are active in our community. We hope to show you the simplicity and beauty of our town.

Carol Wester purchased this house in 2014

Why Carol Wester chose Staples

This house is one-of-a-kind. This is a custom-build tiny home with sliding barn doors, tons of windows, great hillside views, several porches and everything you need to relax for a few days, weeks or year...

The property is in downtown Staples. The city doesn't have any street lights or stores. Be prepared to relax and enjoy all the benefits of Central Texas, without the crowds. The birds, stars and sunrises are amazing. You can canoe from Martindale to Staples. This place is ideal for cyclist and nature lovers.

What makes this house unique

This house is part of a 'tiny town' that's under development. We have three other homes (on this property) if you have a group event.

Fabulous Find

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had an event to attend for the weekend but needed to bring our dog with us. The Tiny Home was so much better than any hotel we could've stayed at. It was very comfortable, just the right size, quiet, and the fact that we could bring our dog with us and not worry about her was awesome. Carol put in all the personal touches to make us feel welcome. This definately made the list!

Peaceful and relaxing

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I really enjoyed our week long vacation stay at Carol Wester’s tiny home. It was very clean, quiet, and comfortable, far superior to staying at a hotel. The location was perfect for the sightseeing that we planned. We definitely recommend and will hopefully return!

Great Annual Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This is my 3rd year of staying in the tiny house community! As usual, the home was fantastic! Carol does such a great job of maintaining the homes and community. I missed her on this trip, but she always stops by to make sure all is well which I appreciate. I cannot wait for my next visit!

Relaxing getaway

  • 5 of 5

I have stayed in all homes owned by Carol. This is the best one yet! Such a beautiful and relaxing experience I enjoyed with my husband. I cannot wait to come back. Don't hesitate, book this house! She is beyond helpful and sweet and this location feels like you are away from it all, but so close to everything! Will be back soon!

Another great stay at Staples Tiny Home

  • 5 of 5

We've made it a tradition of staying at a tiny home in Staples when mentoring and judging Texas State's annual Hackathon. The Austin is very cozy and comfortable and has all the amenities you'll need for a relaxing weekend. We even got a chance to check-in early by contacting Susan who is a great host. Will definitively be back.

Gem tucked away in the Hill Country

  • 5 of 5

This is the second time I've stayed at this tiny home, and it is a really great place. The owner is very helpful and the home is stocked with most anything you could need. The area is secluded and quiet, and isn't far away from the San Antonio or Austin areas. This will continue to be my place of choice when traveling to the Texas Hill Country.
