Join us for some fun in the sun near the beach in the village of Balboa and the City of Newport Beach, California.

Conveniently located between the Balboa Pier and Newport Pier and near Balboa Island and Fashion Island and Newport Center, our back unit is ready for you to enjoy year around or by the month. With a fully stocked kitchen (you just need to bring the food), bikes, beach chairs, and umbrellas, you are ready to hit the beach.

Newport Beach is 100 miles north of San Diego and 50 miles south of Los Angeles and is boarded by Huntington Beach, Irvine, and Laguna Beach.

About Steve and Jody

Hi, we are Steve and Jody and we have lived in Newport Beach for a while but are new to Bay Avenue. Bay Avenue is without a doubt the best street in Newport. It is far enough away from the beach hustle and bustle to be quiet, but close enough so that walking or biking gets you to everything you need.

We are working class folk so we general go to bed early and rise early. You can find us on LinkedIn (http://www.linkedin.com/in/stevemoses). Our place is perfect for working when you need to and playing when you want.

Our kids are off doing their own thing so we moved to the beach and love it. We rise early to catch the sunrise and seabirds. We ride our bikes out to dinner every weekend. We grill every Sunday. Our place has a little alcove where we store our wine.

We invite you to join us for a toast to the beach life.

Why Steve and Jody chose Newport Beach and Balboa Island Area

This property is located in Newport Beach, the riviera of California. We are both working professionals and have designed this unit for the same. Wether you are here to work and play; or are here to play and work, this is a great place for you.

Everything is new and we have tried to provide everything that you'll need for your work or play stay. What we haven't provided can be rented by a local shop (ie surfboard, boats, paddle boards, etc.) All you need to bring is food and the fun.

We live here full time. The rental is in the back of our house so we will be here if you need anything. Between us is a small patio with an attached wine bar that can be used by simply asking.

What makes this corporate apartment unique

We are steps to the beach and everything can be done via bicycle; we are minutes from the Orange County Airport and a short distance from the Long Beach airport; we are centrally located between Los Angeles and San Diego.

Note: There is no garage parking; only street parking. During summer it can get quite busy and parking can be scarce around mid day. That being said, before 11am and after 4pm parking is usually available. We don't move the cars if we don't have to. We provide bikes. Shopping and playing is accessible by bike. NOTE: If you need to leave in the summer, we will move our car to your current spot, just text us when you return.

If you are in town for work, its better to work at the beach.

Ideal Property...!

My daughter needed a place to stay for just over a month before moving into her new place. After searching forever to find something that suited one person, Steve and Jody's place was the perfect solution. The place is ideal for someone who needs all the convenience of home in a one bedroom apartment. It is clean, well stocked and very comfortable. Steve and Jody are super people and made my daughter feel right at home during her stay. The unit is separate from their home which provides plenty of privacy. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a 30 + day apartment in one of the best locations in Newport Beach!

Also comes with bikes which is quite handy. Newport is one of the best places to spend time and everything is accessible by walking or biking. While you have to park on the street, my daughter very seldom found this to be an issue with plenty available street parking in front of the house.

We will certainly utilize the apartment again in the future when traveling out for business or watch some good women's soccer.

Beautiful Apartment in Perfect Location!

I wish I could have stayed longer in this beautiful spot. The apartment is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed for a perfect stay, including beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and bicycles, which we rode everywhere! The prime Balboa Peninsula location is on a quiet street just a short walk or bike ride to the ocean, bay, great restaurants and the Balboa Island ferry. Steve and Jody are wonderful, welcoming hosts who offered great suggestions and went out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. I hope to return.

Beautiful and serene beach escape!

The apartment is beautiful! Even better than the photos! Steve and Jody were great hosts! I loved every minute of my stay in Newport Beach and wish it could have been longer! Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet but close to everything location!

This rental exceeded our expectations in every way....tastefully decorated, exceptionnly clean and well stocked for all our needs. It's location is perfect for beach or harbor activities and biking or waking to several nearby restaurants. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and provide a wealth of local information. We would highly recommend this 5 star properly.

A Perfecct Place to Stay Making Beautiful Memories

My Husband and I just "Love" this Beautiful Apartment! We are here for an extented stay to clebrate Our 50 Th Anniversary and spend the Holidays with our Son Jason and his family! The Pictures on the web site do not do this place justice!! The Kitchen is AMAZING and the whole place is "Immaculate "with lots of storage space and a "Nautical theme which "I LOVE "to match the convenience of the Beach and Bay being within walking distance! The area is Beautiful with lots to do and friendly people. The "BEST" are our Hosts, Steve and Jody who have bent over backwards to make us feel like "Welcome Friends!! I just LOVE their Sweet Happy Dog Newton! If you need a place to stay, you cannot beat this place and you will be very happy here!!

The Best Get Away Location in Newport Beach!

Steve and Jody are amazing!!! They welcomed us like family and their place is incredible! The location is PRIME - you are seconds from the beach and seconds from the harbor! A quick beautiful walk on the beach and you are downtown next to the pier with all the restaurants. Lots of great places to eat and drink - all walking distance.

The apartment is private, quiet, cozy and spotless. The bed and couch is super comfortable. The kitchen is amazing - lots of work space and equipment. Steve and Jody give extremely outstanding customer care. They encourage you to jump on one of their bicycles to take it for a ride!

I highly recommend their rental as the best get away with top quality apartment location and personal owners who love to see you enjoy your time under their roof~ Thank you Steve and Jody!!!
