Furnishings and layout accurately depicted but rather dated. Broken dining chair propped up against the table not a helpful start. Kitchenette has all the basics; loo and shower room clean, functional with hot, powerful shower. Everything clean and tidy on arrival - waste needs to be taken to a well-lit cellar. Request for carton of milk to be left in the fridge for our late arrival not be possible as concierge has to service a number of flats; understandable but would have added to the overall feeling of being well served. Proximity to Haupbahnhof is great as there are many lovely food and other shops. It is a half-hour stroll to the central museum area and 20 minute walk to the Belvedere but the area is well served by buses and trams. On balance, a convenient base without frills for those wanting a a city break on a mid-range budget.
