Our 3-story renovated house has two large bedrooms (king-sized bed in master, two full-sized beds and double loft bed in the other); an office with a queen-size sleeper sofa; 2+ full baths; a spacious, comfortable living room with a 55' flat screen with satellite TV and an upright piano; a huge cook's kitchen with a Viking stove top and an island that seats four; and an ample dining room. Off the kitchen is a large deck and lush yard with gas grill, table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Great light in all rooms. Internet connection is available.
Our one-block-long street is friendly, quiet, and conveniently located near myriad restaurants, cafes and shops of South Slope, Brooklyn, with the F and R subway trains and several bus lines nearby. Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens, the Brooklyn Art Museum, and BAM are all nearby.
Come enjoy Brooklyn's finest neighborhood. Go to the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the Botanic Gardens, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, and the fine shops and restaurants that are within walking distance. Manhattan is only a 15-minute subway ride away.
We are within walking distance to major Brooklyn attractions, a 10-min. walk to the subway, or bus lines are around the corner. Car parking is convenient on our block also.
The five of us enjoyed this home for a week very much! There was plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. The home was very clean and stocked with everything we needed. We were impressed by the decor!! Colorful, artsy, and chic! The beds were so comfortable that our kids didn't want to get up! The quiet, tree-lined neighborhood was beautiful! We sat out on the stoop every night. And just up one block were markets, stores, delis and restaurants. Anything we needed was close by! Our son loved the all the vintage shops on 5th Ave!! The walk to the subway was not long and it was nice to see the neighborhoods as we walked. We would definitely recommend this home 100% and would stay there again!! We truly miss Park Slope and want to go back!
A great space for our five adult best friends stay in Brooklyn. We felt like we were staying at a friend’s home who left a few special touches to make our stay great. Even for a very hot NYC week, we enjoyed the outside spaces – the backyard living area and the front stoop – very much! The back yard felt like a private, homey space in the middle of the city; and sitting on the front stoop, we felt like we were true New Yorkers! We decided to really explore the Brooklyn area, and the homeowners left tons of really helpful information and maps, including recommendations for local restaurants and places to visit! We even used their shopping cart to pick up groceries at the local market. The family left us plenty of refrigerator space to store food and drinks. They even left one large wardrobe in the master bedroom empty for hanging clothes! The beds and couches were comfortable for sleeping. A great home for the week!
We stayed at the house for over 2 weeks. It was amazing. The house is gorgeous , fun and functional. Loved the space outside. We had dinner outside on the patio, simply beautiful. The neighborhood is so central to everything we wanted to do in Brooklyn. The owners and neighbors are so helpful with suggestions and great recommendations. Highly recommend this place for families. Would absolutely stay here again. The Best!!!!!
