Wonderful house in a wonderful spot!

  • 5 of 5

Clean, spacious, well-equipped and so conveniently located. We were at a wedding at Bowdoin College and a reception at the Maine Maritime Museum. Plus we spent time in Freeport and at Cook's Restaurant. Doesn't get any better!

Peaceful home with a great location and lots of room.

  • 4 of 5

We were visiting Maine for the first time from Arizona and had family in the area so knew we wanted to stay in this general area. This home was perfect for us as we had two families staying in the house so the two master bedrooms were ideal for us. There were 6 of us but we could have easily had 6+ more. The only challenge you would have with more is there are only 2 bathrooms and both are located in the master bedrooms. The kitchen and dining area was great to have gatherings with all of us as it accommodated a big group. We also grilled out a few times which was nice. The dock was so nice to have as we would sit and relax and watch the water go by. We would stay here again!

We loved our stay at Rosedale Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We felt welcome from the moment we walked in Rosedale Retreat! We were a large group of kids and adults and everyone was happy. There were plenty of towels, linens, dishes, etc. and space to spread out. The washer and dryer were a great bonus and the short walk to the dock was truly lovely. We hope to stay there again during another Maine vacation!

Perfect Family Retreat

  • 5 of 5

We are a close family, but composed of active individuals with a variety of ages and interests. Rosedale provided a lovely, roomy clean space for all our activities including running four miles, walking in the woods, painting, canoeing, swimming, fishing, sightseeing, quiet reading, gourmet cooking and grilling seafood, rocking and chatting, catching up on the office via computer and keeping up with the news with three TVs. The well equipped kitchen made our family meals fun to prepare and the long table comfortably fit eleven of us! Trips to the ocean at Popham and Reid, cliff walking on Bailey Island, a day at the Bath Maritime Museum, and another at Boothbay Harbor were adventures we'll long remember. Features such a washer and dryer, plenty of beach towels and a greeting of Maine blueberry pie and two bottles of wine made our stay even more wonderful! We would highly recommend it to a group of family or friends who want to experience Maine at its best!

Great place in Maine!

  • 4 of 5

We arrived August 21st and left on September 9. We had a wonderful experience in Maine and really enjoyed The Rosedale home. Squirrels, birds, and the dock made it all so peaceful. The listing is accurate, the place was clean and the property manager was very kind and helpful. We recommend this for sure. We enjoyed Amato's Deli, The Dolphin Inn and The Brunswick Tavern and Inn. The L.L.Bean store is a must, along with Cool as a Moose! But mostly we loved the people in Brunswick they are warm and friendly!
