Care and love has been put into making this a high-end experience with attention to design, comfort, quality, and amenities. Everything is a stone's throw away with an artisanal cheese shop next door, a butcher, a baker, and many shops and restaurants right on the Elandsgracht. The famous Prinsengracht canal is on the corner, the 9 Streets for boutique shopping right across the bridge, and the Anne Frank Museum a short walk away.
There is a feeling of comfort and being in your own home here. Maybe because I'm American and like everything big, but both the couch and bed are big and comfortable. The apartment is one above ground floor (US - 2nd, EU - 1st)
You have the entire apartment to yourself. You have a nice set of dishes/utensils for cooking, washer/dryer, TV, Cable, Wifi. You will have a whole chest of 6 drawers for clothes (since I keep the closet for myself). There is a coat closet to hang clothes in the kitchen (2 ft / 60 cm wide).
INTERACTION WITH GUESTS
I have someone come in to greet and show you around the place when you arrive. In case any questions or help needed they will be available to call.
The neighborhood has the feel of living in the Amsterdam you see on pictures. It has a very local feel (a bit uppity) right in the center despite being a stone's throw from away everything. Personally, I like that I can spend a whole weekend without even leaving the neighborhood! (butcher, baker, grocer, barber, pastry shop, 10's of restaurants, and sheik pop-up shops are literally within a 150 meter radius here). Check it out for yourself: www (DOT) elandsgracht (DOT) com/?lang=EN
Also, the 9 Streets start at the end of the street (30 meters) :) de9straatjes (DOT) nl/en/home
You can walk anywhere from here (Leidseplein 5 minutes, Museumplein 15 mins) really the most recommended way (especially if you're visiting the first time) is via Bicycle!
Trams that connect you to anywhere are 200 meters away (Lijn 17, 10, 5)
The main bus station is also at the end of the street that will take you directly to the airport (Bus 197 every 17 minutes) or even the Beach in Haarlem.
