|Minimum Stay||30 nights|
Updated 2 bedroom, 1 bath in a very central and lovely location in the Nob Hill area, bordering North Beach, Russian Hill. This unit has a modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite with a large island; Queen beds in each room with very nice bedding; a beautiful bathroom with tub and shower combo; Large picture windows throughout; crown molding; clean modern furnishings, and a (shared) washer and dryer. The windows are triple panned to keep out the 'city' noise as the surrounding area is very lively and there are many things to do within a short walk.
We stayed in this apartment for three nights with our kids, ages 11 and 14. We loved the apartment and the location. The layout of the apartment with two bedrooms was great and it allowed us to spread out and have space during our family vacation. We were able to easily walk to Chinatown and the Embarcadero, and then took a cable car back from the Embarcadero. The apartment is right around the corner from the Cable Car Museum. We loved the neighborhood. There is a small grocery store close by, and also nice parks and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the Nob Hill Cafe, and ate there twice during our stay. We also ate at Mason Pacific, where the food was delicious but the pacing was a little slow for our group.
Overall, I highly recommend this apartment and we plan to go back during our next trip to San Francisco.
We loved this apartment! It was clean and spacious and the owner was on hand to answer any questions and left very clear instructions. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting to stay in San Francisco
A family of 4 stayed in this apartment for 3 nights. Superb property with all the amenities you would ever want in a compact but comfortable traditional San Fran townhouse. The girls loved the round bed, which was extremely comfortable (the other bed was as well although very creaky).
The location is perfect as you have 2 cable car lines right outside the door that will take you to all the main tourist places (they are a really fun way to travel, although not cheap!!), as well as some convenience stores and lovely restaurants close by. If you wanted to get a cab instead, this is easy and relatively cheap as well (they have a cab number saved on quick dial on the apartment phone). It's not too far to walk to some iconic places such as Chinatown, Lombard st, union square etc., although you do need to be fit and able to cope with the hills. You don't need a car at all. I can imagine some people may complain about the cable car noise but they stop running around midnight and I can honestly say we didn't notice them at all.
A special mention must go to the owners. They make the booking easy and provide great instructions to check into the property. Also very quick to respond to any questions raised. On our last night, 3 of us were struck down with food poisoning (a result of hotdogs bought from a street seller in Fishermans Quarter) and were not well enough to leave the property at the agreed 11am check-out time. This was no problem to the owners who were happy enough for us to stay on for a few more hours, despite having a new batch of guests arriving later that day. This was very kind and very much appreciated.
I would recommend this property to anyone and would love to come back and stay again some time.
