A short stroll into the centre of Akaroa village
This beautiful house felt warm and cozy. We would have loved to stay even longer - and paint the fence...
This house is so delightfully old worlde, but with a modern twist. Our family loved staying here. It was close to town and within walking distance of some great tourist spots and cafes etc. The house is large with great amenities (the ensuite has huge roll top bath!) and is beautifully restored and decorated, making sure to leave remnants of its history visible and in tact. If you want a unique holiday experience and appreciate Akaroa's history and character you will love this house.
Be warned -very old historic house. 2 bedrooms remain in poor condition. Some of our party unhappy with this. However - Excellent location. Lots of space. Full of character. Other rooms beautifully restored.
A beautifully restored house with stunning attention to detail and great location. The house is well provisioned. I would highly recommend staying here.
Good location able to walk to local amenities. Unfortunately this was out weighted by no sheets/ towels or hotwater! Would not recommend.
