Located about midway between Yachats and Waldport, this home is in an absolutely ideal spot for beachgoers. Walk just steps to the end of the street and stroll right out onto the sand, where you will find a relatively uncrowded stretch of coastline that is perfect for beachcombing, sandcastle building, and enjoying the scenery. Drive a few miles down to Yachats to explore its few restaurants, or take a scenic drive north to Waldport and Newport.
This beautiful home features enough space for up to six guests, and you're even welcome to bring up to two dogs with you for an additional fee. This vacation rental has two bedrooms, one with a full bed and one with a twin-over-full bunk bed. There's also a pull-out sofa and one full bathroom with a tub and shower.
There is an open living space with a wood fireplace and a TV with a DVD player. Internet is provided so you can stay connected to the world if you choose. The living room opens to the dining area with a table for family-style meals. The kitchen is fully appointed and allows an abundance of natural light so it is bright and cheery!
There is a sliding door that leads out to a deck on the large private yard. There is even a large firepit that is the perfect place for the family to gather and tell stories. While the house is not technically oceanfront, it is about as close as you can get since the beach trail is just off the property line - and you can hear the waves from the yard!
The beautiful trail leads down to a sandy beach that you can walk for miles as the home is nestled between Tillicum State Park and San Marine State Park. Yachats is full of fun activities for all ages and is a perfect place for stormwatching in the winter. It is an eclectic town full of artists and cafes, and is just a short, scenic drive up or down the coast from other wonderful coastal towns.

Vacasa - Vacation Rentals Made Easy:
Professionally managed and cleaned homes
Local assistance 24/7 for emergencies
Secure INSTANT booking
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
Thank you for all the work you put into making this home so inviting and comfortable. We didn't get the opportunity to take advantage of the hot tub or firepit, we were in town for a wedding and really were too exhausted to enjoy all this house had to offer, but plan on returning in the future just to enjoy this house and the beach. There were some minor issues, the bath tub faucet was loose, but I loved all of the excess blankets, pillows, the amazing variety of movies and games to entertain guests. The bed and couch were comfortable and I loved all of the art decorating the place. Visitors really need to check out the Bread and Rose bakery and Luna Sea Restaurant while they are in town.
We stayed 3 nights with 2 adults and 2 kids and 1 dog during August. This house is fantastic! Great location: super quiet with great access to the beach (approx 1 minute walk to the beach). Lots of fun books for adults and kids. Well stocked kitchen; we enjoyed cooking several fun meals. The beach was amazing! Remote, gigantic, flat, perfect for kids (gigantic sand castles) and adults (reading). Our 7-mo puppy loved his first time at the beach (pro tip: don't let them eat old crabs or drink too much sea water). Yachats (yah-hots) is a few minutes away for essentials or dinner. We found this section of the coast more quiet than other areas up north. Highly recommended.
We stayed here over the 4th Holiday and enjoyed Yachats.
We stayed here with 2 little boys and the place was perfect for us. You can run down to the sandy beach, or take a quick drive to Yachats for shopping or tidepools. The hot tub was great and everything was well stocked. Be aware the "trail" to the beach can be steep and involves a bit of scrambling, but we made it work. Great place for a small family!
Yachats is such a beautiful area, and it was really nice being able to walk down to the beach every day! Cozy, comfortable place with all the necessary amenities.
We enjoyed our family graduation stay. This house was perfect for a small get-together. The outside amenities made it well worth the stay!
