Coote Cottage is your home away from home, when you're visiting the sun soaked bay!

The cottage is situated on a generally quiet street by Napier's Centennial Gardens, directly adjacent to the old Napier Prison and has lovely sea views. Once you arrive you can park the car and walk virtually anywhere! Just down the road are the local swimming pools, beach, Marine Parade and the bicycle rental store. Wander a little further and you'll find the local shopping area, iSite and all the restaurants and cafes Napier CBD has to offer.

A short walk up the hill (5 minutes) you will find a dairy and fish and chip shop.

There is secure off street parking for two cars and it is pretty much a flat walk anywhere from there - it is about 200 metres down hill to Marine Parade and then flat from there.

Free WiFi is available, along with a landline for local calls.

Whether you are into the local wineries, the many cycleways, boating, Napier's iconic Art Deco Weekend, or the myriad of other attractions the bay has to offer, this cottage is perfectly situated for your comfort and enjoyment.

This is the perfect holiday home, all year round. A heat pump and wood burner (it doesn't have a fire guard) ensure the cottage is warm, dry and comfortable in winter. There are also patio blinds surrounding the deck which allow you to enjoy the view no matter what the weather.

The property is safe and fully fenced. We will accept children, but special conditions apply. Please tell us the ages of your children in your enquiry. A portable cot and high chair are available on request.

Please Note - Cellphone coverage can be intermittent due to the hill, so a landline for local calls is provided free of charge.

If you are planning to arrive after dark let us know and we'll have some lights on for you so you can see what you're doing.

Please note the cottage has a strict NO PARTY rule at all times and is a non-smoking property.

Special conditions:

Please bring your own beach towels as these are not included in the rental.

No smoking anywhere on the property.

Children allowed with prior approval - conditions apply.

No parties.

We had a great Xmas week with family of young kids. Well-fenced garden for safe outside play, nice deck and very nice furnishings inside. Particularly liked driving family van around the back for easy safe load, unload.

And, very goo walking Bluff Hill neighborhood...especially being a few dozen meters to the ocean parade.
