For the amount of money I spent for a two night stay it would have been nice if we had a Fridge that worked properly, The Door would not shut all the way, We had to push it hard to keep our $200 plus grocery's at a decent temp. The ice maker in the Fridge did not work, The Carpets are absolutely filthy, We had 8 of us and we got only 6 towels for a two night stay.. REALLY!! Did provide us with laundry detergent so I could at least do a load of towels for us. ANOTHER trip to the store.. No real sponge to wash dishes with or kitchen towels to dry them. A tiny bottle of dish soap. The top bunk beds didn't have proper bedding on them. A piece of wood around one of the bedroom doors was hanging off and got my kids shirts, sweaters many times. It would have been nice to have some wood for the fireplace. We were given two tiny pieces. No vacuum or broom to clean the floors.. We had four cars and I had to drive into town and park my son's car or it would have been towed!! I'd love to hear back and see if you would at least give me some money back.. Very Disappointing!! Owner's Response: Susan, Thank you for sharing your voice. Your experience is important to us. We do apologize for any confusion - that is why we send the contract and confirmation - so you can feel educated and prepared for your visit and fully understand our policies and how we will serve you. It does list what we do and do not provide in detail, please see the following: The home WILL BE EQUIPPED with clean linens, bathroom towels, basic pots/pans, dishware and a STARTER AMOUNT of dish soap, toilet paper and trash bags. The home WILL NOT BE EQUIPPED with Air Conditioning, paper towels, coffee filters, specialty kitchen items, salt and pepper (or any food, condiment, or beverage), bathroom soaps or lotions, hair dryer, beach towels or spa towels, charcoal, Pay-Per-View access or firewood. Additionally, please accept our apologies for your troubles with the refrigerator. We have done a site visit and found it works perfectly - but was turned up too high. In high altitude when you max out settings on a refrigerator it overloads the cooling mechanism and it shuts down. I do not see a work order for this, but we would have been very happy to do a site visit and make you more comfortable. We know we can earn a better rating from you and hope you continue to come to Big Bear to enjoy a land of four seasons, adventure, and life changing experiences.

Perfect private getaway!!!!!

  • 5 of 5

Angels Camp was in a beautiful secluded location in upper Moonridge!!!! We loved the back deck and how it was wide open to the national forest!!!! We brought our dog and it was a perfect property for him to be loose and explore!!!! The cabin itself was very “HOMEY” , clean and comfortable!!!! It met all of our needs!!!! We would definitely love to revisit Angel’s Camp!!!?

Very cozy and perfect for a weekend get away

  • 5 of 5

The property was great! The driveway and walk way were not shoveled completely so we had to do it ourselves. Other than that this cabin was perfect for a weekend get away. Very cozy. Had everything we needed

Angel's Camp Rocks!

  • 4 of 5

Great place for families, plenty of room for everyone. Backs up to the forest, so no neighbors behind you. Built a cool snowman!!

Fireplace kicked out some welcome heat but need to bring your own wood-no big deal-plenty to be had at several stores in town.

Takes about ten minutes to get to town so remember your supplies!

Also had a great dinner at the Peppercorn Restaurant in The Village.Make a reservation early or you won't get in.Great steaks!
