Space 800 sq. ft.
Property type cabin
Minimum Stay 2 - 4 nights

About the property

Authentic Log Cabin, 1 BR + Queen Sleeper sofa, 1 Bath, Sleeps 2-4

A Beary Cozy Spot was truly blessed, having escaped any damage from the fires. It is just as the pictures show it. If you are thinking of a trip to the Smokies, you will love this cabin.

This lovely authentic log cabin is just minutes from all the excitement of Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg and the great Smoky Mountains! A Beary Cozy Spot is also located less than 2 miles from The Parkway, grocery stores, video rentals, restaurants, outlet shopping and more!

If you are looking for a clean, cozy log cabin, this is the cabin you are looking for. It is situated on a beautiful, private lot surrounded by trees and lush foliage. You may not even see a car drive by as it is not on a through street.

Honeymooners love the secluded atmosphere, but there's also room for a small family of 4.

There is also a large yard for enjoying the outdoors. Spend a relaxing evening by the fire or soak in the private hot tub on the back porch. Play a game of pool, or challenge each other with one of the board games found in the cabin.

The master offers comfy brand new mattress and box springs just added in November, king-sized log bed, and just steps away is a stacked stone jetted tub. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in front of the fire place.

Amenities include a fully equipped kitchen, stacked stone gas fireplace, 32' LCD HDTV with DVD, Wifi, two covered decks, charcoal park grill, secluded hot tub and an old fashioned porch swing. It is a true log cabin with open areas and a loft with a pool table.

Fabulous location just two miles from The Parkway and all the activities in Pigeon Forge. Dollywood, Ober-Gatlinburg, The Island, snow skiing and entrance to the national park are just a short drive away.

A Beary Cozy Spot is perfect for your vacation, honeymoon or anniversary - just bring some food and your clothes. Everything else is provided for you.

Smoking is permitted outside in the front yard or driveway ONLY, please use the sand bucket or field strip.

Small dogs, under 10 pounds, are allowed with prior approval, and a non-refundable fee of $50 applies. If you will be leaving your pet in the cabin alone while you are out, you will need to bring a crate. Please remember, there are guests coming after you, so clean up after your pet. There are woods across the road where pet waste can be carried.

Please check the calendar for availability and the rates before contacting me. Minimum stay is 2 nights except for holiday weekends which requires a 3 night stay. From October 1 through January 3 the minimum stay is 4 nights. Guests must be at least 25 years of age.

About Linda Johnson

My husband and I have had some wonderful times at A Beary Cozy Spot. We especially love to spend time during the winter because it always snows while we are there!!

After being at the cabin a few days and enjoying the peace, serenity and beauty of the location, we always want to stay longer. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do, and will take home fond memories of the time you spent at our cabin in The Smokies.

Linda Johnson purchased this cabin in 2005

Why Linda Johnson chose Tennessee

A Beary Cozy Spot is an authentic log cabin. There is no through traffic found on this street, except for the mailman. Even though it is away from all the traffic and noise of town, it is within just two miles of The Parkway and all the attractions in Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountains. It is THE perfect location.

Easter Weekend Getaway

  • 4 of 5

This cabin was perfect for a weekend retreat. Very clean and decorated nicely. We loved the hot tub and the porch swing. The bed was comfy and the loft was nice. This is a great cabin and location was great!

Owner's Response: HI Vickie, Thank you for your review of our cabin. We love our little cabin for the same reasons you did. We are here now, and it is so quiet and peaceful. In two days there have been only 2 cars going by. During spring - fall the back porch is so private, you can't see anything but trees. I hope you will come again. All the best, Linda

Nice cabin, but had a few issues

  • 3 of 5

We stay in Pigeon Forge every year for our anniversary and we always chose a property with a hot tub and lots of privacy. This cabin was cute and comfortable, especially the bed but the hot tub was dirty and only 2 jets worked. Had to call the manager and then the owner of the cabin to fix the issue. The manager came the next day and drained and cleaned the tub but was only able to get 3 jets to work and then only partially. Was very disappointed because we were looking forward to the hot tub especially. Another issue was the privacy. There is none. The property description states there is little traffic and no neighbors but there is a residential house next door with noisy kids and their side yard and windows look staight into the hot tub area on the deck. The deck with the hot tub is visible from the road and houses below as well. We had to put up a makeshift blind so we wouldn't get peeped at. There was at significant amount of traffic as well since there are a few houses with permanent residents close by. There were two guys in loud trucks racing down the road one evening as we tried to relax. There is nothing private about this place. So beware anyone wanting a quiet private getaway. This isn't it. We won't return.

Owner's Response: Rebecca, I am sorry you did not enjoy your time at the cabin; however, I am a little confused about the house with the noisy kids. The residential house that is adjacent to our property on the other side of the privacy fence is owned and occupied by a single woman with no children. As far as permanent residents on the circle, there are only three. My husband and I have been there numerous times for 5 - 7 days, and we haven't seen the significant traffic you mentioned. We have dozens of reviews that talk about the peace and privacy of the cabin, so it is unfortunate you did not find it that way. I am sorry about the two trucks racing, but Sunrise Boulevard is a County Road, and we have no control of that. The circle where our cabin is located is only for the cabins on the circle. I do apologize for the hot tub, The mountains are full of limestone, and that clogs the jets in the hot tub in the form of calcium. We have it serviced every couple of months, but probably need to do it more often. We try very hard to make sure the cabin is updated and in good repair, but we realize that we cannot satisfy everyone.

Great Cozy Cabin

  • 4 of 5

Really enjoyed the cabin. Perfect for couples sharing their anniversary or honeymoon.

Would suggest some bamboo blinds for the front of cabin where the hot tub is located just for additional privacy.
