Los Abrigados Resort & Spa, 0 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, sleeps 2 maximum
Skip the sales pitch on arrival, and lose the fees.
We were met by the concierge at the door, only to be pointed to the check in counter that we were already headed to once she saw that we were not on the list she had in her hand. After check in, she summoned us back to her desk and started a sales pitch to try and get us to take a timeshare tour. Apparently, this resort is comprised of timeshares, and its not a conventional lodge or hotel.
Also, check-out is at 10AM, and you sign an agreement checking in that you will be charged a late check out charge if you do not check out by 10. There is also a $28 "resort fee" just because, that is not included in your rate.
Overall, not a bad place, but its old, and they are trying to get money everywhere they can through fees, charges, and selling timeshares. Wasn't exactly a welcoming stay.
We got to check in early and enjoy the resort and surrounding area. The property is being renovated in certain areas which was the only drawback but overall it was great!
A wonderful surprise!
Everything was great! Staff was excellent. Food at the very nearby Spoke and Wheel was good and the room was most comfortable. Would surely stay again!
The room was fine, but the view out the front was an unkept field and the back of a house, the view from the patio was parking lot and cars. And parking is a bear unless you want to walk quite a ways to your room or get in early, like before 7:00
Staff was FANTASTIC.

You get what you pay for...
My nightly rate was only somewhere around $70, so I should have had different expectations. But both of my rooms (had to switch because of loud noises) were dated, the patios nothing like in the pictures and both had cracked tiles in the bathroom. But for $70/night, what do you expect?
A nice place to stay close to food and drink
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was not available at the time it was supposed to be but the staff was very accommodating. It is nicely located behind Tlaquepaque with a lot of options for food and drink as well as a nice place to walk around and shop.
Would definitely stay here again.
