About the property

4 Bedrooms, 4.5 Bathrooms, Sleeps 14

This beautiful and immaculately clean vacation home is located at one of the best locations in the Whitefish Mountain Resort. In the winter you're only steps from feeling the snow beneath your skis. In the summer you're close to the many wonderful activities that the mountain has to offer, as well as the Flathead Valley and Glacier Park. In winter take in the gorgeous mountain views in front of the fireplace. In summer you'll appreciate relaxing in air conditioned comfort on those hot summer evenings. And in any season, enjoy the hot tub right outside the back door or barbecue on your private gas grill. This vacation home boasts quite possibly the best views of Whitefish Mountain. Whitefish has everything a vacation should have -- skiing, boating, biking, walking, relaxing. Pure fun and enjoyment. Take long romantic walks. Enjoy the wildlife. Stroll to one of the many neighborhood restaurants and bars. Stay in and enjoy the wall mounted 50' flat screen TV or secure wi-fi internet. Create your own dine-in experience with the fully equipped chef's kitchen. Spend the day exploring northwestern Montana. Glacier National Park is a short 20 mile scenic drive. The charming mountain village of Whitefish is also a very short drive. There are many reasons the 2013 season of The Bachelor chose this location as one of their main destinations. We hope this will be one of the best vacations you ever have.

If you are planning a trip to San Diego please check out my Ocean Beach listings #992787 and #3777320. Getaways steps from the sand.

Notes:
3600sq foot, comfortable, luxury townhouse with absolutely gorgeous views. Air conditioning for those hot summer nights -- much needed! Large hot tub out the back door. At least two guests must be over 27 years of age. No pets and NO SMOKING. The unit next door is also available. Please see listing# 3653128. This is a family-style residence for families and adults. This is not a party-style residence. This is NOT an appropriate vacation rental if you feel your group will be excessively noisy, disruptive to the neighborhood and harmful to the property. I have a' good neighbor' policy with my neighbors and I want to make sure that my guests accept that same policy.

Beautiful place!

  • 5 of 5

The house was very beautiful and comfortable. We loved the area and hiking the local trails. Except for the smoke, this kicked off the first leg of our vacation perfectly. This is a perfect property for a large group and the owner could not have been more pleasant and helpful to work with. Thank you for sharing your home!

Epic Northwest Trip

  • 5 of 5

I started my search for the perfect home last year for my 50th birthday epic trip. I have been dreaming of traveling to Montana for a number of years and, although we only saw a tiny portion of it, she delivered big time. Our focus was Glacier National Park however, our location at Whitefish Mountain Resort was ideal for the crowd we had and the varying interests of each. It was minutes to Whitefish and well situated for visits to Glacier at the west entrance.

Our party ranged in age from 12 to 51, my older sister has me by a year. We brought our husbands and sons, totaling 5, and two of the boys brought their girlfriends. Our boys are 12, 21, 21, 23, and 29. The 29 year old nephew and I share a birthday. A dear friend from Raleigh joined us for 5 days so each bed was occupied. Sounds crowded but it was far from that. The living space was perfect and the outdoor patio offered lovely views of the ski mountain. The kitchen was well equipped and gave us the opportunity to enjoy meals together at the oversize dining table.

The bedrooms with their own bathrooms was fantastic and the beds very comfortable.

The entire home is welcoming.

We had a couple hiccups that Connie immediately addressed. She has been a very responsive and engaging owner. Thanks for making the Epic Northwest Trip a success. My family had a very special time at your home. Should we make it back to Montana I would immediately book this place.

Safe travels and blue skies!

Diana

Marvelous mountain property that is great for families

  • 5 of 5

This was an excellent family reunion place and location. The unit is huge and the photos simply don't do it justice. So much room on three floors.

The view from the porch and the dining room is glorious. The location on Big Mountain Rd. is great because you are close to the mountain activities as well as the town of Whitefish. And, don't forget about Glacier National Park with its lodges, hiking trails, boat rides, and Red Bus tours! Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms for our gang of 11! This is a middle unit so the spacious hot tub is right out the back door. We can give this property our highest recommendation!

Very nice and comfortable place to stay

  • 5 of 5

We really enjoyed staying in this home during our visit to Glacier. We had 5 people and everyone had their own room and bathroom (my wife and I shared). The kids really enjoyed it and it was very comfortable to come home from a long day of hiking and such. There are several restaurants close by in Whitefish. The surroundings were beautiful.

For a Family Vacation - Excellent on Many Levels

  • 5 of 5

Our children and grandchildren joined us for a vacation to mark the 50th state my wife and I were visiting. That complete our goal of visiting all 50.. And Connie and Paul's place was a fitting place to celebrate our American journey. Not only is the place spacious accommodating 12 of us which included 4 relatives visiting from the Philippines. It is well appointed and has what you would want to on a vacation. There was ample space for the children to run around and the adults to lounge around. Bathroom access was never an issue. And have I mentioned the view? As you sit on the balcony you can just be mesmerized by the view of Big Mountain and imagine how it would look if you were to take a ski vacation. Mu children would like to return in the Winter especially since access to the ski lifts are a short walk away. If location matters to you, then you will appreciate that it is in a cul.- de-sac of fairly pricey homes so you won't have to worry about traffic or crowds. Yet downtown and the beautiful lake of Whifefish are easily accessible as well as Glacier National Park and of course, the Glacier Airport. One of the biggest draws of the p[ace itself are the owners. Connie and Paul are very friendly and easy to deal with. When I mentioned that our grandchildren are just under 2 years old, she actually bought a high chair and a pack and play for the children to use. When we had a slight issue with the TV, they did not stop looking for a solution until everything was to our satisfaction. Throughout the rental process she provided good communication with me. I would recommend this place very highly.

Overrall, i would recommend the unit very highly.

Whitefish Mountain Resort has attractions year round. It offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter with lots of on and off piste runs for all skill levels, a terrain park and very short lift lines. In the summer there is a zip line, mountain biking on the ski trails, an alpine slide and of course miles and miles of hiking trails. Without ever leaving the mountain you can enjoy a five star meal at the Kandahar, or a casual meal at Ed and Mully’s or the Day Lodge. Relax and enjoy a drink and music at the Bierstube Tavern.

Five miles down the mountain is the charming mountain village of Whitefish, which offers plenty of fine dining, nightlife and shopping for western art and apparel. Don’t miss the Great Northern Brewery, where you can sample a variety of craft beers. Enjoy a fine meal lakeside at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake, or perhaps on the Terrace downtown at Casey’s (both featured in a Bachelor episode 2013 season.) Or go casual and treat yourself to maybe the best hamburger you will ever eat and a Moose Drool beer at the Bulldog Saloon. Of course these are just a few of the great eateries on tap; there are plenty more. After dinner you may want to do a little partying with the locals at the Great Northern Bar and Grill.

In the summer the beautiful alpine Whitefish Lake offers boating, wake boarding, jet-skiing or water skiing as you prefer.

A short thirty mile drive takes you to the entrance of Glacier Park, “The Crown of the Continent,” arguably America’s most gorgeous national park of all. Enjoy hiking, fishing, sightseeing or guided river rafting. The movie “River Wild” was filmed on the south fork of the Flathead River, which runs through the park. The rapids are just fast enough to be exhilarating yet still family friendly. If you come in the summer, do not miss the “Going to the Sun Road”, which can be followed all the way to the adjoining Canadian park, Waterton. There is no more beautiful drive to be found anywhere.

Whitefish is a place you will want to visit again and again.
