About the property

4 Bedrooms, 4.5 Bathrooms, Sleeps 14

This beautiful and immaculately clean vacation home is located at one of the best locations in the Whitefish Mountain Resort. In the winter you're only steps from feeling the snow beneath your skis. In the summer you're close to the many wonderful activities that the mountain has to offer, as well as the Flathead Valley and Glacier Park. In winter take in the gorgeous mountain views in front of the fireplace. In summer you'll appreciate relaxing in air conditioned comfort on those hot summer evenings. And in any season, enjoy the hot tub right outside the back door or barbecue on your private gas grill. This vacation home boasts quite possibly the best views of Whitefish Mountain. Whitefish has everything a vacation should have -- skiing, boating, biking, walking, relaxing. Pure fun and enjoyment. Take long romantic walks. Enjoy the wildlife. Stroll to one of the many neighborhood restaurants and bars. Stay in and enjoy the wall mounted 50' flat screen TV or secure wi-fi internet. Create your own dine-in experience with the fully equipped chef's kitchen. Spend the day exploring northwestern Montana. Glacier National Park is a short 20 mile scenic drive. The charming mountain village of Whitefish is also a very short drive. There are many reasons the 2013 season of The Bachelor chose this location as one of their main destinations. We hope this will be one of the best vacations you ever have.

3600sq foot, comfortable, luxury townhouse with absolutely gorgeous views. Air conditioning for those hot summer nights -- much needed! Large hot tub out the back door. At least two guests must be over 27 years of age. No pets and NO SMOKING. The unit next door is also available. Please see listing# 3653128. I am sorry I have to add but..... This is a family-style residence for families and adults. This is not a party-style residence. This is NOT an appropriate vacation rental if you feel your group will be excessively noisy, disruptive to the neighborhood and harmful to the property. I have a' good neighbor' policy with my neighbors and I want to make sure that my guests accept that same policy.

Well stocked and clean

  • 5 of 5

Connie was great to work with. The place is large and the rooms well insulated...I was impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. There is plenty of space to spread out and every room has its own bathroom, a huge plus when 10 women are sharing a condo.

Great mountain, great location!

  • 5 of 5

The rental was in a great location, days on the mountain don't require driving. There was plenty of room for our group of 7. The town is a short drive away. Owner was responsive when there was a small issue with the hot tub, which was resolved during our stay. I would definitely rent this place again (especially if they get 36" again in 4 days)!

Beautiful home on a beautiful mountain for February skiing.

  • 4 of 5

The house is very spacious and the décor is wonderful for a mountain retreat. We had 7 adults stay and had more then plenty of room. It was also very clean. Each bedroom was large with its own bathroom which was great! Our group really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day skiing. It is shared with other units, but that did not pose a problem for us. But certainly wouldn't be adequate if all units were full to capacity and had to share. We had a few minor water issues with the dishwasher, nothing major that required a call, but handled ourselves. The kitchen is very well stocked with extra plates and serving dishes over the capacity of the house, which is nice. Slow cooker, blender, adequate pots and pans. It was a very pleasant surprise to find food items in the pantry, which evidently previous renters had left, seasonings, flour, syrup, canned tomatoes, etc. Only thing we missed was a griddle for pancakes, but there were multiple fry pans, so we made it work. The grill worked great also, but did need a cleaning. The walk to Homeaway run is alittle bit of a hike but also doeable. Only problem we had was we had rain and ice which made it hard to walk any where!! We had non-skiers with us, and after we got our bearings the walk down Wood Run Court street and through a walking path then back down Moose Run to the shuttle was a short walk. The mountain resort shuttle then can take you to the base lodge or up to the upper village. We have stayed on the mountain several times during ski season and usually stay in the upper village, so this was alittle different for us. Our group ranged in age from 22 to 60 years of age. Our concensus in the end was the house is more than adequate for a large group; but as for the walking the older ones in the group felt they would rather stay in the upper village. I think this decision was based on our rain and the ice on the uphill road which made it a very treacherous walk. Although we wouldn't hesitate to stay in the house again.

Great Spot

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay here in early feb. Shared hot tub is not ideal but wasn't a surprise. When it stopped working the first day it was fixed right away. Garbage disposal wasn't working but also not a huge issue for our stay. Any issues were adressed right away and it was a great property in a very good location(I counted 180 steps to Home Again ski run). We will look to stay here again.

A nice, spacious place that accomodates large families well.

  • 4 of 5

It was good to have separate bathrooms for each room. The kitchen was large and well equipped. It was a little tight between the eating bar and the dinner table when everyone was eating, but it was manageable. The community spa (hot tub) was very relaxing. The beds were comfortable.

Outstanding Property!

  • 5 of 5

This property was a perfect fit for our group of 8 mature adults. Connie's attention to detail made our trip even more enjoyable. The setting is beautiful and she provided everything we could have wanted or needed. Each of the 4 large bedrooms has its own private bath! The condo was very clean and the towels, sheets and mattresses were all top quality. We particularly liked the décor and the way the kitchen was well stocked with matching dishes, cup, plates and flatware. Even though we did not use the hot tub it too was well maintained. I would rent this property again and would definitely recommend it to friends without hesitation. The condo is a short drive from the town of Whitefish where there are many good restaurants, we ate at Loula's, Cia Mambo, Casey's and The Whitefish Lake Restaurant and enjoyed our meals at each one. We also traveled each day to the West entrance of Glacier National Park which is a 50 minute drive. Thanks Connie for sharing your beautiful condo.

Whitefish Mountain Resort has attractions year round. It offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter with lots of on and off piste runs for all skill levels, a terrain park and very short lift lines. In the summer there is a zip line, mountain biking on the ski trails, an alpine slide and of course miles and miles of hiking trails. Without ever leaving the mountain you can enjoy a five star meal at the Kandahar, or a casual meal at Ed and Mully’s or the Day Lodge. Relax and enjoy a drink and music at the Bierstube Tavern.

Five miles down the mountain is the charming mountain village of Whitefish, which offers plenty of fine dining, nightlife and shopping for western art and apparel. Don’t miss the Great Northern Brewery, where you can sample a variety of craft beers. Enjoy a fine meal lakeside at the Lodge at Whitefish Lake, or perhaps on the Terrace downtown at Casey’s (both featured in a Bachelor episode 2013 season.) Or go casual and treat yourself to maybe the best hamburger you will ever eat and a Moose Drool beer at the Bulldog Saloon. Of course these are just a few of the great eateries on tap; there are plenty more. After dinner you may want to do a little partying with the locals at the Great Northern Bar and Grill.

In the summer the beautiful alpine Whitefish Lake offers boating, wake boarding, jet-skiing or water skiing as you prefer.

A short thirty mile drive takes you to the entrance of Glacier Park, “The Crown of the Continent,” arguably America’s most gorgeous national park of all. Enjoy hiking, fishing, sightseeing or guided river rafting. The movie “River Wild” was filmed on the south fork of the Flathead River, which runs through the park. The rapids are just fast enough to be exhilarating yet still family friendly. If you come in the summer, do not miss the “Going to the Sun Road”, which can be followed all the way to the adjoining Canadian park, Waterton. There is no more beautiful drive to be found anywhere.

Whitefish is a place you will want to visit again and again.
