Beautiful view!

  • 5 of 5

The location was good and not to far from the main road and in a private setting which we like. The sun room was very nice to sit back and relax in and the wifi worked great. There was plenty of pots & pans, etc. if you have a larger crowd to entertain. Grilling out on the back deck surrounded by the mountain's was great along with the sound of the stream in the near distance. Look forward to coming back!!

Loved the solarium!

  • 4 of 5

I found this home delightfully spacious. We were a family of 6 and we had more than enough room to spread out. The house was always a nice cool temp. I read the reviews about the driveway so I had an idea of what it would be like but it was a little shocking for me, my husband loved it. The views from the house were amazing and worth it. House is in a secluded and peaceful area just about 8 to 10 minutes from the main road. The house was really well stocked for a vacation house. The Wi-Fi was a little hinky at times but we didn't mind because we weren't there for the internet service but our kids noticed. Lol. I would recommend this house to others.

Nice property.

  • 3 of 5

Cabin was nice. Beautiful area. Had trouble contacting the owner for key code. When I contacted the emergency number the man said he hadn't worked for the owner in over a year. Beginning of trip was frustrating, but everything ended up ok. Consider getting new comforters for the guest room. Big bleach holes on them. Not the best first impression. All things considered, we enjoyed our stay.

The trip began by running out of propane for the grill. The next morning we woke and had no water. The owner was called and the water was fixed within three hours by the repairman. The icemaker did not work. Several pots had rust in the bottom. The temperature was abnormal 30-40 degrees. No wood was available for the fireplace. It snowed in May. Other than that, it was a good adventure.

Owner's Response: Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the issues that arose during your trip. The homeowner has since assured us that the propane and pans have been replaced and that there are ice trays available in the freezer. The home is not advertised as providing wood, but we want to make sure travelers have the best vacation rental experience at this home, so we do thank you again for your constructive feedback and we hope to assist you again in booking a vacation rental that will exceed your expectations! Beautiful cabin and property!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin was the perfect set up for our party of 5 - an 11 year old, a 17 year old, my 83 year Father in Law and my husband and myself. My FIL had a bedroom/bathroom on the first floor and the upstairs bedrooms were roomy and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to enjoy cooking family meals. We enjoyed the Creek Path over to the babbling brook. The whole experience was wonderful, I highly recommend this cabin.
