This lovely cottage was beautifully updated and remodeled in June 2007. The designer furnishings, bright open floor plan, modern appliances, and peaceful rear deck combine to make a wonderful vacation escape.
The rear deck overlooks Montecito creek, and is shaded by 200 year old sycamore trees.
It is an easy stroll to both Miramar Beach and Hammond's Beach. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, beach toys, and a beach wagon are available for your use.
Montecito's Coast Village Road is a 2 minute drive away. Downtown Santa Barbara, with its beaches, museums, boating excursions, and other attractions, is about 10 minutes away.

NOTE: This property can be combined with the adjacent cottage (Seaside Cottage) to make a 3 bedroom /2 bathroom home. Access passages can be opened between both living rooms and patios.

Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 10% Lodging Tax + $2/night Tourism Tax.
$225 Cleaning Fee (14+ night stays require additional cleaning fees), Booking Fee (varies based on reservation cost).
$1,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $250 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.

We rode the Santa Barbara Century and loved it and the weather and the festival. Discovered Foxen Winery and Santa Maria Valley 2012 Pinot! The bedroom was very comfy and the breakfast nook was nice and sunny. Loved Santa Barbara. So relaxed!
The Seashell Cottage is located near Hammonds Beach (which is our family's favorite beach). It's roughly a 3-4 minute walk. The cottage is situated amongst homes in a quiet location that borders a seasonal creek in the back garden. The bed was terrific, the kitchen well-equipped, and the fireplace was enjoyed. Nicely decorated and we will definitely be back.
Wonderful location, well equipped. Would definitely go back. The management service from Paradise Properties was excellent. A grab bar in the bathroom bath would be a good improvement. Ideal location providing 5 minute access to beach and quick access to restaurants and cafes in Montecito and Santa Barbara.
we come here every year for our anniversary. this year there was a mix up with our house and it was not ready, we were put into a large home within 20 minutes of the mix up happening with no additional charge. We love these properties, they back up to a greenbelt covered with trees and the walk to the beach is short, less than five minutes. its always hard to leave. the cottages have everything you need, beach towels, umbrellas, cooking utensils, comfortable beds we love it.
This is a charming beach cottage. We stayed here for 3 nights in the Spring of 2015. We would like to rent again someday. It's tucked into a neighborhood but we had no trouble finding it.
There is a front and back area to enjoy a cup of coffee outside. It's a short 2 block walk to a rocky beach.
The property is a home that is divided by a locked door. There were other guests there but we didn't hear them. My only wish is that it had a king size bed!
We had a delightful stay. The only misleading statement was proximity to the beach and I would say it is more like a 2 block walk to the beach. The beach is mainly rocks; I recommend Summerland Beach which is about 1 mile away and is wonderful. We love the area and enjoyed Whale Watching along with shopping too. Quiet and peaceful. Restaurants we have loved for years include Cava, Piatti's, Lucky's, Giovanni's Pizza, The Harbor House (Stearns Wharf).
