21/8/2010 – 28/8/2010 New Jersey, USA We have travelled to many islands and have stayed at some of the finest resorts. Our Stay here at Villa Zara has been exceptional. We fell in love with the island itself because of the wonderful people, the incredible beauty of the island, and the amazing food. The Villa itself exceeded all of our expectations, and Yvonne and Phil made our stay seamless. We vow to return and make this our annual family vacation destination.
Thanks for everything!!

We had hyped ourselves up on Villa Zara for months, and somehow it still exceeded our expectations! The house is stunning, the pool area and ocean view/access is sublime and Yvonne and Phil took extremely good care of us and the place. They had recommendations for anything and everything and were even sweet enough to bake me a cake for my birthday. The location of the house was ideal for us – away from the crowds but still close enough to Rum Point, Kaibo Beach, the East End and other places of interest. Probably the most memorable vacation anybody in our group has ever had, and Villa Zara really helped put it over the top.

We have travelled to many places around the world - but Villa Zara ranks at the top. The house is beautiful, the pool is perfect and the on-premise staff made it our best vacation ever.
We visited 7-Mile beach one day - it's one of the top rated beaches in the world. We rented seadoos there - great water.
We frequented Rum Point for snorkelling, used Red Sail Tours with a boat that took us to StingrayCity and Starfish point. Very fun. Also did the Bio-luminescent tour of the bay in kayaks. Went to Turtle Farm and the obligatory Tortuga Rum Cake Factory. Tukka is a nice place for dinner. Rode the bikes to Rum Point several times. Perfectly Pampered Cayman came to the villa so we could all have Swedish or deep tissue massages.
We did a lot but always could not wait to get back "Home" to this House!
Loved it here and hated to leave!!
My wife and I booked Villa Zara for our destination wedding. Needless to say, the pictures did this place no justice!
Beautiful accommodation and truly serene landscape. Our entire wedding party and guests enjoyed our ceremony and holiday.

Villa Zara provided a fantastic place to rest our heads and rejuvenate for another day. Our days were spent snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, jet-skiing and eating. We traversed the island from Rum Point to the East End and ventured to Smith’s Cove and Eden Rock and Cemetary Beach for fabulous snorkeling. Eden Rock provided a great reef with Tarpons, Angel Fish, Turtles and many more sights. Right in front of our house if you go into the water at the Public Beach and drift towards Rum Point Turtles and Barracudas await. The Restaurants on the island never disappoint. The Lighthouse, the Italian Kitchen, Over the Edge and Sunset House are wonderful spots to eat if you don’t feel like using the lovely, spacious and well stocked kitchen at Villa Zara. Grand Cayman is a welcoming island with fantastic people. Yvonne and Phil at Villa Zara are gracious and full of wonderful advice for getting around the island. Yvonne made my family feel as if we were right at home with treats of cupcakes and an Easter basket! These two are top-notch for taking care of Villa guests. The grounds and pool are stunning and provide many outlets for fun in the pool or on the beach. We are looking forward to another Grand Cayman holiday because of the charm of this place!
Thank you Yvonne!

The entire island is only 22 miles wide from west to east; so you are never too far from anywhere on Grand Cayman. The homes on the oceanfront in Rum Point offer great reef protected snorkeling. The beaches usually have plenty of white sand, but also can have spots of rocky “ironshore” with natural rock formations. The closer you get to Rum Point, usually the sandier the beach as well as swimming. Either way, with the abundant marine life we have in the water, you will want to wear foot protection (pool shoes or fins). The prevailing breeze (trade winds) from the east also make flying insects less of a nuisance—many of the homes in Rum Point don’t even need a screened porch. The big draw to this area is the proximity to the “Rum Point Club”; a public beach club that offers a fantastic barefoot beach…many watersports, a restaurant, bar, grill, gift shop and pick-up beach volleyball games. (www.rumpointclub.com ) It is from the Rum Point pier that the www.redsailcayman.com 65’ catamaran departs to stingray sandbar for snorkeling trips. Also near Rum Point is the Kaibo Yacht Club restaurant, bar and marina (www.kaibo.ky) Click map on our home page. Lastly…we have (2) large resorts in the east end (www.morritts.com and www.thereef.com ) that offer manicured beaches as well as restaurants, a modern grocery store, liquor store, gift shops, SUBWAY sandwich shop (and even a coffee/pastry shop). These two resorts also offer scuba, snorkel trips, jet skis, windsurfers, kiteboarding, ocean front pools and bar service. www.tortugadivers.com and www.whitesandwatersports.com offer snorkeling tours, paddle boards, jet skis, etc.
