"Casa Plumeria" is located on 1211 Margaret Street, an area of Old Town that is near the Southernmost Point and the just four blocks from the gallery district of Duval Street. You’ll be just a few blocks from some of Key West’s most famous restaurants: El Siboney, Flaming Buoy, La-Te-Da, Louie’s Backyard, Salute and Seven Fish to name just a few. Higgs Beach and Key West’s Dog Park are just a half mile away. You couldn’t find a better place to stay in Key West.
***This home is available for lease by the month, in accordance with local ordinances strictly enforced by the City of Key West. The minimum lease is for 27 nights in February and for 29 nights during any other period.
THE LIVING AREA…
The first thing you’ll notice is the bright tropical colors of the living area, perfect for a Key West home. The living room is large, with plenty of seating and a 50-inch flat screen TV, for those times you’ve had a bit too much sun. The sofa folds out to a queen bed for extra guests. The gourmet kitchen is open to the living room, with four handsome bar stools so the family can kibitz while the chef is preparing dinner. The kitchen is a masterpiece of culinary design, with a double fridge, professional gas range and oven and every small appliance you might need. The kitchen has a pass-through to the dining room, which will seat eight comfortably. A powder room is down the hall.
THE BACK PORCH & POOL…
Two sets of large French doors provide access to the back porch and pool deck. There’s an outdoor dining set with umbrella and chaises for sunbathing on the very sunny deck. The pool is “L” shaped, designed so you can sunbathe on a platform in very shallow water. The pool can be heated to enjoy year-round.
THE GUEST COTTAGE…
The Guest Cottage has two French doors that open to the pool. There’s a queen bed and an en-suite bathroom. It’s perfect for the couple in your group who want a little extra privacy.
The main house has two bedrooms on the main floor. The first bedroom has a queen bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms have overhead fans, flat screen TV’s and Bahama Shutters for mornings you need some extra sleep. Between the two bedrooms is a Jack & Jill bathroom with a beautiful shower with river stone floor and frameless glass.
Upstairs is the Owner’s Suite, a spacious bedroom with a king bed, overhead fan, flat screen TV and French doors that open to a private balcony. There’s also a comfortable sitting area. The huge walk-in closet will accommodate any wardrobe. The en-suite master bathroom is a work of art, with a claw foot tub, twin vanities, and a huge custom shower with more of that frameless glass.
Central Heat and AC, Ceiling Fans Throughout, Heated Pool, Private gated & lushly landscaped yard with BBQ Grill, Washer/Dryer, 50 inch LED Flat Screen TV in living room, Flat Screen TV’s in all other bedrooms, Cable TV throughout, DVD Players, Microwave, Blender, Toaster, Full Gourmet Appointed Kitchen, Linens and Towels provided. Daily or weekly housekeeping provided upon request. Wireless high-speed Internet access, Private Off-street Parking. This property will accommodate up to 10 adults.

Casa Plumeria was even better than the photos suggest. Lori Bailey, with Last Key Realty, was exceptionally helpful with all our needs. We would highly recommend this Old Town property.
We came back to this home again, because the house we rent is very well taken care of and the service is great. We love the privacy, the pool and the location too. Lori and Last Key really know how to take good care of their customers. See you in 2017!
We stayed in this home through the New Year. The home was in great shape and the pictures are an accurate representation. There was plenty of room within the home and the pool house is an added bonus. I enjoyed spending time on the enclosed front porch. The pool was the best part of this home; it got great sun and had a perfect shallow area for my granddaughter to play. This home has a great location, close to the action of Duval Street and close to the beach. It is one house over from the acclaimed El Siboney restaurant, this makes for easy food pick-up but also makes the street fairly busy with people and delivery trucks, etc. Lori was very helpful and available to us. We would definitely recommend this property, Lori, and Last Key Realty.
Overall we had a pleasant month at this home. Lori was very prompt and helpful, with the few issues that came up during our stay. It was a bit warmer than we expected for April, so we may consider a March trip next year. This home is beautiful and well located.
We really enjoyed our stay. The house was well equipped everything was new and obviously well taken care of. The outdoor pool area is large with nice furniture. It gets the perfect amount of sun and the pool is a nice size. Lori Bailey was very attentive. Any questions or concerns were immediately taken care of. The location was very good for either walking or bike riding. I highly recommend Casa Plumeria, Lori, and Last Key Realty.
It was truly magical, spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in this wonderful home! We enjoyed the large pool area daily for swimming and we were able to enjoy many of our meals outside, which was lovely. We had bikes to get us all around the island to the nearby beaches. This home was so bright and cheerful! Lori was always available for any questions we had and for anything we needed. It was definitely a 5 star vacation for our family and friends.
