Beautiful two-bedroom condo in the heart of downtown Saugatuck. Unique views of downtown Saugatuck, with a huge balcony overlooking Cook Park and Kalamazoo Lake. Watch the boats float on the lake, or take advantage of the close proximity to all the stores, restaurants, galleries, and bars downtown Saugatuck has to offer. Bedroom one has a king bed with an attached bull bath with a tiled shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The second full bathroom is across the hall with a tiled shower. The condo features a unique three-way fireplace between the dining area and living room. In the living room, you'll enjoy the TV with cable and DVD player, and the dining table seats 6. The kitchen features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped and stocked with everything you'll need during your stay. The large balcony has patio seating for dining and relaxing, and has a grill for your use as well. The condo faces west so you’ll enjoy the sunset over the dunes.

Perfect for a week at the beach, a couples’ or girls’ getaway, or a place to stay for Art Prize in Grand Rapids or Holland’s Tulip Festival. The condo is also about 40 minutes from Timber Ridge and Bittersweet ski areas so skiing, snowboarding and tubing are a short drive away. A great place for a getaway, no matter the season. If rented you would be agreeing to the following contract and also be asked to do so electronically:

CONTRACT:

Rental Rules:

1.) No smoking. All of our rentals are non-smoking. By signing this contract, you are stating that you will not smoke in our vacation rentals.

2.) You and your guests are using our home at your own risk. We nor the owner of the property will be held responsible for any injuries that occur at the vacation rental or for any lost or stolen items. Any boats (if available) used on the property require life jackets be worn and are used at your own risk.

3.) No boats or trailers are to be parked at our rental properties. Tents of any kind are not allowed.

Arrangements for trailers need to be made. You can park at any legal spot on the street. There is a public lot a block away that you can park in. In the winter months please note the signs on what side of the street is allowed to park on which day due to snow plowing.

4.) Do not move the furniture.

5.) Each cottage has a maximum number of guests that is listed on this contract you must verify that it is correct. That number is not to be exceeded - this includes children and adults. For fire safety, we are required to limit the number in each home. If additional people are found to be staying at the cottage the entire group will be asked to vacate with no refund. Inflatable mattresses or alternative sleeping other than pack n plays or cribs are not allowed. Tents are also not allowed on the property.

6.) Pets are not permitted. If a pet is on the property then there will be a $150 fee and it will be required that the owner board the pet immediately.

7.) Damages are to be reported during your stay. If we find damage after you vacate, you authorize the charge to your credit card for replacement or repair or provide another credit card number, pay by cash or check. Damages reported upon arrival will not be guests' responsibility.

8.) Cleaners will come to the cottage after you have departed - they will not visit to clean, change linens, or replace towels during your stay. Please contact the office should you need assistance during your stay regarding any cleaning items.

9.) Grills are to be cleaned after each use.

10.) Quiet time is after 11pm nightly. We do not tolerate loud groups and college like parties anytime of the day or night.

11.) You are at least 25 years old and will be able to verify with valid identification during your stay if needed.

12.) Weddings and formal events are NOT permitted on our properties, if there is found to be a formal event on the property the entire group will be asked to vacate the property with a no refund. It is acceptable to have a visitors during the day hours but that number can not be more than double the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

13.) When umbrella on deck is not in use please roll down and do not use in high winds. Winds coming off of lake can cause damage and potentially break windows. Guests will be responsible for any damage caused by umbrellas.

14.) Please make sure french doors remain closed during bad weather and when you are not in the condo so that water does not damage wood floors further. It is noted that there is currently slight water damage.

Adhere to check in times to allow our crews time to clean. DO NOT check in early and unload belongings into a yet-to-be-cleaned property as our crews cannot clean a rental with personal property in it.

PARKING is on the street. There is a city parking lot a half a block away that you can park overnight for free. There may be a charge on busy weekends if there is a fundraiser going on. From November 1 to April 1 you must read signs and park on the correct side of the street for plowing.

Please respect the scheduled check-out time so our cleaning staff has ample time to prepare the cottage for its next guests. Also please follow the departure instructions or extra cleaning fees will apply.

1.) Remove all garbage to outside trash bins in walkway entrance to condo. Recyclables can be placed in yellow bag provided under sink and placed directly in dumpster OR just put with regular trash in dumpster as it is sorted at refuse facility.

2.) Empty the refrigerator and freezer of all items.

3.) Load and run dishwasher or clean all dishes if there is not a dishwasher.

4.) Strip the sheets and pillow cases (not, mattress pad, pillow shams, comforters, or blankets) from all the beds slept in and put at the foot of the bed.

5.) Turn off lights, turn thermostat to 65 degrees in winter and 78 degrees in summer months.

6.) Please double check to make sure you have all your personal items and have not packed anything that belongs to the cottage.

7.) Close and LOCK all outside doors and windows and LOCK door upon departure. Please LOCK door upon departure.

Cancellation Policy:

Reservations canceled before 30 days prior to check-in date will will lose the reservation deposit. If cancellation occurs within 30 days before check-in, full payment for reservation is nonrefundable. There are no refunds for early check-out. If at any point during stay the rental rules agreed to are not adhered to the guests will be removed and all rents forfeited.

Great apartment in a great location.

Everything is great about this apartment. It’s clean, comfortable and well equipped. The location is perfect.

The only thing is that the instructions for arrival could be more detailed. It is apartment no 6 on top of the T-shirt store which has the same address as the apartment. I was a little confused in the beginning. Any way, great place to stay for Saugatuck.

Slice O heaven

The condo had a full kitchen with everything we needed. Decorated with just enough, from the memory foam king bed to comfy living area. Perfect space for 2 couples with a queen bed in second bedroom. The location was excellent too situated in the heart of Saugatuck with easy walking to restaurants and shopping. Be aware the entrance is to the left of a store front. Look for a sign on the gate.

One thing to note is the condo is above a store that plays music from outdoor speakers. It can be heard from the master bedroom but it wasn't an issue for us. The cindo is on the second floor. To get there you climb steps. The outside deck was so huge and has a great view of Lake Kalamazoo and the river.
