The Snell family has enjoyed the Waverly property so much over the past 20 years we have recently purchased a second unit. As our family has grown so has our love for this location!

For smokers and party people only

We were not really surprised because previous tenants wrote about it but something needs to be done about the smell. No airfreshner of any kind even if you have them all over the place will cover the horrible smell. We managed with the problematic parking, we dealt with the music of the bar next door and the one behind the building, we dealt with the noise coming from the tenants upstairs but we REALLY COULD NOT DEAL WITH THE SMELL. Fortunately, we had a balcony to sit on for some fresh air from the ocean.

From beginning to end our stay here at Waverley number 25 is perfect for our family of six.

From beginning to end our stay here at Waverley number 25 was a perfect vacation for our family of six adults. Having a full kitchen and being able to cook a couple of nights and I'll be seated around one table is something that we value. Sleeping arrangements were perfect , Although we did bring one single blowup mattress it was just more comfortable for the sixth adult. The location is exactly what we wanted oceanfront, steps from the beach, literally, general store in case you forget anything was right underneath us, and right outside our door was a swimming pool and seating where you could catch the afternoon sun as it moved away from the ocean to the back of the building. I would highly suggest this property. There's a bar next-door with nightly and daily entertainment that we enjoyed from sitting on our balcony at night. If we had small children I do not believe it would've bothered them inside the condo. The only issue but it wasn't an issue was that there is only one space for parking, for a small vehicle inside the garage and I suggest not having to go in and out. Fortunately we have a second vehicle that we were able to Park a couple of blocks away so we could use that when we needed the car. There is overnight parking across the street but it was $40 per day/night. We would absolutely come back and hope to rent this location again. Thank you to Shannon and her family for having a comfortable home with all of the amenities that a family needs on vacation, including beach chairs boogie boards and sand toys, that yes adult children still want to play with! Thank you again for allowing us to stay

Beautiful views

We loved this property. It was perfect for my two kids and I and my parents. Waking up to the sound and sights of the ocean was breathtaking. The accommodations were very clean. The only thing that would prevent me from staying again was the parking and that is out of the owner's control. Space was so difficult to get in and out of.

Great Condo, Beautiful Views, Convenient (but loud) Location, Problematic Parking

The condo itself is awesome and being able to walk out onto the beach really made our trip. Fairly large 2 bedrooms & 2 decent sized baths with a large private deck overlooking the beach that we really LOVED. Access to the deck from the living room and master bedroom was a plus! Great for having breakfast/lunch and people watching. Small but adequate and well stocked kitchen. Large living room. The pool was nice-sized and warm. Plenty of patio furniture on the shared pool deck. The washing machine and dryer were located in the basement/parking garage - shared with other condos. This wasn't really a problem, but we just didn't know ahead of time. The condo was nicely decorated and fairly modern, although the beds could use replacement. Lots of storage space for all the stuff you need when traveling with a toddler to the beach. It was an added bonus that the condo was stocked with a few kid's items - crayons, a stamping activity, books, DVDs. Some of the decor was easily breakable and we ended up 'putting it away' for the week to save it from our little one.

The condo is VERY close to the pier, restaurants, fireworks and center of all activity - we could walk to everything we needed and didn't have to drive and then pay for additional parking, which saved us some money. With that being said, it was frequently VERY LOUD! There is a bar/restaurant attached to the property and one next door to the property, so with live music every afternoon and night and the party crowds abound, it made sleeping/napping often difficult for our 20 month old daughter, even with a white noise machine.

The other issue we had was with parking. The parking garage under the unit was VERY small - it is basically a pull in driveway with 3 spots on each side of the driveway - there is no "extra room" to turn around. So we often had to do 12-point-turns to get our mid-sized SUV in and out of the spot. For our second vehicle, there were pay lots on the main street that charged $35/overnight or $210/week. We ended up parking our second vehicle on the street in a neighborhood about a half mile away. This wasn't convenient, but OK since we didn't need to drive much anyway.

This was our first time to OOB. We normally vacation in Cape Cod. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again if we can't visit the Cape. For us, what really made the difference was the beachfront location of the condo and the great deck overlooking the beach.

Great time at the Sand Dollar #25

location is the Best on the beach!. Clean comfortable living conditions walk to everything with parking below and a pool right outside your upstairs door.My family and I have stay here before and absolutely love it.Looking forward to returning again.

Nice unit but very smoky

This is a nice location and the owner was very pleasant. However, became ill towards the end of my stay. I have allegies and the stale cigarette smoke that permeated the condo was overpowering. We did try to air the place out by opening doors but all that seemed to do is to dislodge the dust bunnies from under the furniture.

Again, the place was nice and clean overall. The owner also listed that smoking was allowed in this condo. I should have paid better attention.

I suspect that the smoke would not be so bad later in the season after the place has a chance to air out. (I think we were the first summer rental).
