Neighborhood has No Crime compared to East Bank. This One Hundred year old house is beautifully and fully renovated with twelve foot ceilings, hard wood floors, shotgun, double. It has two bedrooms with a queen in one and a beautiful King sized Brass bed in front room next to Living room. Kitchen has Microwave gas oven. Has one bathroom next to Kitchen.

I, Andy, will help you with any questions you may have. Please read description, as it will answer most of your questions. 427 pelican ave 70114 Please text me two days before arrival with arrival and leaving times!!! 5045392861 Andy Wash and Dry Towels departing, TY! It helps a lot!

We are two blocks from Ferry to get you across the River. Ferry ride has very nice view of New Orleans. Nice shot of Saint Louis Cathedral. It is nice when the sun is setting.

Second oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. 200 years old! The houses in the neighborhood are awesome. Houses have lots of character. With a childrens park three doors down and two other parks in the neighborhood, makes this the best neighborhood you can book. There are three really cool Bars. Old Point Bar is the best with live Music. There are three Restaurants, Tout De Sweets is good for breakfast and Lunch. Dry Dock is very close to Ferry for Lunch or dinner. It is also a Bar. Appetite Repair Shop is open Thursday thru Saturday on Vallette and Alix. Get there early, he runs out of food quickly.

The bus can pick you up and drop you off one block across the street. 'The Owl' is the one you take late at night. Ferry hours are 7:15 leaves Algiers Point and 6:15 is the last one that leave promptly from the Central Business District. So get there before 6:15. It is the last one so you don't want to miss it! If you do you can take the bus. It picks you up at the corner of Canal and Historical Basin Street. 5042964700 Andy, Run towels and dry departing.

Our trip was very enjoyable. Andy was a good host. Beds were very comfortable, living area needs more seating for guests. Kitchen was missing a few items but overall our accommodations were comfortable! Lots of hot water for showering, laundry etc. The ferry was very close and dropped us off on the other side right at the base of everything. Close to the French Market, casino and French Quarter. The ferry ride itself was less than 10 minutes. Algiers Point has local restaurants and bars. The coffee house was getting ready to open, this will be a good addition to the area. The historical houses made for very enjoyable scenery walk. Algiers, is the perfect way to enjoy the city life but get away from it all at the end of the day!

Thanks Andy

Andy was extremely welcoming and personable to all of my friends and I. He was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We even locked ourselves out and he was available to help us with no problem. I def would stay here again!

Not what we were expecting

  • 2 of 5

The outside was cluttered, the inside was not very clean. The fridgerator inside was broken and owner knew about it, the kitchen did not have a big frying pan, just a wok, the only spatula we had was really floppy. we opened the bathroom cupboards and it had black mold growing in it, not good. On the upside it is located in a nice neighborhood and conveniently located near the ferry.
