This was our third visit to Nohonani 106. Very comfortable and the location is convenient to shops and beach. We can't wait to visit again!
Mahalo and Aloha, We are looking forward to your returns!
I traveled with two friends and we loved this beachfront condo. Beautiful views and a welcoming community. Our trip was during the off season and at that time, at least, it was a quiet place to stay in a great location. The condo is outfitted with most everything you'd need. They even left us a starter packet of coffee, a very sweet touch. There's free wifi and a phone. We didn't use the TV but there is one and it has plenty of stations. The master suite is quite nice. The back room can get stuffy so use the fans and if you are heat sensitive, consider visiting in the cooler months. It was clean and a mellow space. The onsite manager is great and everything was smooth with the management company. I'd book here again.
Best location on the island and best unit in the Condo.
The corner unit on the ground floor was amazing!! Spent our days and nights sitting on the patio watching the sunrise, rainbows, turtles, and sunsets with zero obstructions! We will definitely be coming back.
Clean and quiet.
Nice condo it was clean and quiet and had almost everything we needed. There was no kettle to boil water and they could offer more beach supplies. There were some burnt out light bulbs but overall everything worked and the condo served its purpose. The view from the patio was great, there were turtles on the beach almost every day. The beach is quite small.
THE EXTERIOR OF THE PROPERTY IS WELL KEPT. THE INTERIOR IS NICE, HOWEVER NEEDS SOME ATTENTION TO REPAIRS. WE HAD SEVERAL LIGHT BULBS OUT AND THE ONE IN THE CEILING FAN IN THE MAIN BEDROOM NEVER DID WORK. THE DOOR STOP IN THE MAIN BEDROOM BATHROOM WAS HANGING HALF OUT OF THE DOOR WHEN WE ARRIVED, DRAGGING ON THE FLOOR EACH TIME THE DOOR CLOSED AND EVENTUALLY FALLING OUT OF THE DOOR. THE PATIO DOOR SCREENS DO NOT OPERATE WELL. THE BEDROOM ONE WAS ON UPSIDE DOWN WHEN WE ARRIVED (WE OWN A GLASS BUSINESS). MY HUSBAND INSTALLED IT CORRECTLY, HOWEVER THE SCREEN IS TOO SHORT FOR THE DOOR AND THE ROLLERS NEED REPLACED, MAKING IT UNUSABLE. THE HALL CLOSET DOORS WERE ACTUALLY PROPPED UP AGAINST THE BEDROOM WALL BECAUSE THEY HAD COME OFF PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL. I FELT THIS WAS A SAFETY ISSUE HAD SOMEONE BEEN THERE WITH SMALL CHILDREN. SOME OF THE LOUVERED WINDOWS WOULD NOT OPEN DUE TO THE MECHANISM BEING BROKE. THE TOILET IN THE BATHROOM WOULD RANDOMLY FLUSH ON IT'S OWN. MANY OF THESE ARE MINORS REPAIRS. TOO BAD THEY WERE NOT ADDRESSED PRIOR TO OUR ARRIVAL. THE MAIN BEDROOM MATTRESS IS EXTREMELY UNCOMFORTABLE AS ARE THE PILLOWS. WE WOKE UP EACH MORNING TO AN ACHING BACK. THE BEDSPREAD HAS BLOOD STAINS ON IT AND NEEDS REPLACED AS WELL. IT WOULD BE NICE FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON TURNING THE TV ON. AFTER CALLING, WE WERE ABLE TO GET THE LIVING ROOM ONE TO TURN ON, BUT COULD NEVER GET THE BEDROOM ONE TO. IT IS A NICE UNIT BEING ON THE END IT IS FAIRLY PRIVATE, BUT NEEDS SOME ATTENTION.
Good condo, met our needs
My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 5 and 10) stayed at this condo in January 2018. Overall it met our basic needs. The size was good - two bedrooms, one for adults and one for kids. Living room with sliding doors opening to a patio.
The unit itself is on the ground floor, with a small patch of grass leading up to a sea wall. I would NOT consider the ocean in front of this condo swimmable, at least in winter. The waves were rough every morning, and no sand was visible - was not at all what the pictures in the listing showed. The ocean was also very loud at night. I enjoy going to sleep with the sound of waves but it was bordering on loud and stormy every night, even though there were no storms.
There is a small pool - not good for young kids though. The entry is 3ft deep, which quickly becomes 5ft then 7ft. My 5yo could not comfortably swim in this pool, which was very disappointing for us.
- small but adequate. There were enough supplies to get by and cook meals. Utensils and pots/pans were clearly old/ worn and some were hard to find. There were adequate numbers of plates, bowls, glasses and silverware. Dishwasher did the job. Fridge kept food cold. Stove is electric.
-Main bedroom has king bed. It is squeaky, and mattress somewhat uneven but it was OK. The main drawback to this room is it was HOT. There is a ceiling fan that barely turns, and a plug in stand fan. We were there in January where it was not hot outside but the room felt stuffy at night. No AC. The second bedroom's fan worked better so was a bit more comfortable, but i could see this place being uncomfortable in the summertime.
-Main bathroom off the master bedroom. Double sink, and small/medium size shower without tub that works fine. Broken door jamb but no major issues.
-Second bathroom is smaller, and IMMEDIATELY to the left when you enter the condo. It has a sliding pocket door, and we initially thought it had NO door. There is a second smaller shower here. No bathtub.
- In unit washer and dryer. Bring your own detergent. Appreciated having in -unit laundry. Older appliances but worked fine with no problems. Found broom but no dustpan.
- 2 old/ rusty beach chairs in the hall closet, but no other supplies. They say there are beach towels but we couldn't find any. We brought our own.
Location - 5 min drive to Kaanapali, 10 to Lahaina. Coffee shop/market in walking distance. 1hr to Wailea
