This contemporary, spacious duplex apartment completed in 2014, is located in Netanya’s newest neighborhood , Agamim, between Ramat Poleg /Ir Yamim and the South Beach neighborhoods.

The living space is open plan with a lounge/dining area and modern kitchen complete with breakfast bar, oven, hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and microwave. (Washing machine in separate utility room).
The lounge will have Cable TV and High speed WiFi.
The large balcony opens out from the living area, a real wow factor when you walk into the apartment! Great for Al Fresco dining with a fantastic view of the sea and the Agamim park.
Bedroom 1, the Master Suite is located on the lower floor (10th floor) and is an elegantly furnished double room with Queen Bed, ensuite bathroom and walk in wardrobe, boasting a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and Netanya’s Winter Lake/Agamim park.
Bedroom 2 is an elegantly furnished double room with Queen Bed, adjoining bathroom and boasts a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and Netanya’s Winter Lake/Agamim park from the second floor of the residence (11th floor)
Bedroom 3 is also located on the lower floor, off of the entrance area and can be set as a single, twin or double bed. Although it is not an en-suite room, it has guest toilet adjacent to it.
The owner has given this apartment a great holiday home feel by having plenty of artworks and ensuring it is fully equipped to a high standard.

Why Yonete Gottfried chose Netanya
Agamim is located in west Netanya, about 900 meters from the sea at its nearest point. The neighborhood includes a park and two nature reserves, a seasonal lake and a reserve for rare irises. Netanya's newest neighbourhood has a neighbourhood shopping center with supermarket, pharmacy, laundrette, hairdresser etc. Located by the “Winter Pond/ Agamim Reserve” The rare winter pond is in the southern part of Netanya, east of the sandstone cliff found by the sea shore. Every year, the winter rains flow into the pond area and make a small picturesque lake. The size and life-time of the lake depend on the amount of precipitation each year. During the spring months the “pond” attracts many travelers from all over Israel: nature lovers, painters, photographers, scholars and students. In the small area of the pond, life begins anew each winter: crabs, daphnia and various water insects – as many as 20 species, come to life in the pond’s water. More than 100 eucalyptus trees were planted around the pond in the 19th century and give a special look as they are ideal dwelling place for ravens, herons, crows and ring-necked parakeets.

We have been renting this beautiful duplex apartment for two years and all of our previous tenants have been very happy with the apartment, so much so that some have returned repeatedly (including a young family with two children who very much enjoyed the family friendly neighbourhood with close proximity to the children's playground, beach and local shopping center with children's play area. They were also provided with a baby crib, highchair and children's tv channels)
This was our first rental through HomeAway and sadly it was not a good experience for us with these particular guests. The guests complained about electrical faults and twice an electrician came to the apartment at the home owner's expense and could not replicate the faults described by the guests. Since then another family stayed in the apartment and did not experience any of the problems described regarding the electricity, broiler/oven or internet.
The guests left the apartment 3 days early, during the night, leaving the apartment not secured, with the front door unlocked. They had also racked up a very large electricity bill (which they did not pay) by leaving the air-conditioning units on for their entire stay completely disregarding the house rules asking guests to turn off the units when they leave the apartment (especially relevant as they left for a few days at a time each time).
The apartment does not currently have a dishwasher, but it was not listed as an amenity prior to booking. Not all Israeli buildings have a garbage shute, the majority do not, many families live in the building and to do have a problem emptying their trash occasionally in the waste disposal room located on the ground floor.
It would be very sad if due to this review other potential guests missed out on this beautiful, well maintained, reasonably priced duplex apartment.
The location is ideal A 9 minute drive from Kikar Haatzmaut in Netanya town centre A 12 minute drive from Nitza Boulevard 6 minute drive or 30 minute walk to the nearest beach (Hof Argaman) where there is a lovely beach café/restaurant, Tammuz; 6 minute drive or 40 minute walk to the Island hotel decked promenade with its cafes, shops and restaurants and ice cream bar operating. 5 minute drive to the Ir Yamim Shopping Mall and the beach resort of Poleg. 3 minute drive to local supermarket or 17 minute walk (two take-away food stores, and a café patisserie) Located at the heart of Israel, South Beach Netanya is only a short drive from two of the major traffic routes in Israel: road no. 2 (the coastal highway) and road no. 6 (toll highway), positioning the apartment only 25 minutes away from Herzliya, 35 minutes from Tel-Aviv and 40 minutes from Haifa. Those who prefer public transportation have comfortable access to Beit Yehoshua train station, located nearby and to buses. The Poleg Industrial area is also a 5 minute drive away, located there are large supermarkets, shops, cafes, many restaurants, bars and a cinema.
