One of the best vacation I have been on. Cottage had everything we needed. Owner thought of everything. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us where things were located. I would recommend this cottage to family and friends. Since there is no TV we played games, played cards, read books, used the firepit nightly, and of course went to the beach daily which is very close to the cottage. Great place for a family and children. Loved it.

Wonderful week! Dale and Lynn were great hosts! The cottage even looks better than the online pictures! We are already looking forward to coming back next year! We loved the sandy beach and the water! Plus amazing sunrises! The cottage was clean and well equipped! One of our best ever vacations!

Just As Lovely the Second Time

  • 5 of 5

After our great experience last year, we could not wait to return to this lovely cottage. Everything was well-stocked and clean. There were several improvements too - some new fans, and three new attractive cabinets for storage. The Ehresmans even turned on the second refrigerator for us in advance because they remembered us needing it for our larger family last time. We were able to grill every night and eat outside with an amazing view of the lake. The kids especially enjoyed the water, volleyball, board games and reading on beach. We hope to return to this peaceful place.

You won't find a better view or accommodations on the east side of Michigan. Dale and Lynn are superb hosts and everything that have is pristine! The cottage was very quaint with an elegant feel. What a joy and privilege to stay with them, looking forward to coming back soon!

Our best family vacation rental yet!

  • 5 of 5

Our family absolutely loved this vacation rental. It has everything you could possibly need from kitchen and bathroom supplies to outdoor beach toys and towels. It is so well stocked that we have decided to fly instead of drive from SC next summer. The owners lived just one house away and were so attentive to our needs. This was by far our best summer vacay yet.

My favs: The view from the deck and the nighttime beach star gazing.
